Such an old establishment in the heart of Lafayette. I was disappointed by my milkshake this past visit as it was too thinned out, not enough coffee flavor but I will still return. The Frito pies are yummy
Very classic ice cream shop but the ice cream is WAY better than blue bell (no hate to blue bell still really goof but Bordens is 1000xs better). Atmosphere is perfect staff is awesome so yeah perfet all around. Be warned the banana split is def shareable or a two day sweet treat also all great prices
I have been going to Borden’s in Lafayette for over 60 years. I grew up in Lafayette and it was always a very special treat when we went to Borden’s.
We moved to Texas in 1974, and every time I am in Lafayette, we always go to Borden’s!
