We stopped for lunch. what a great place. dining room is large with a huge selection. I had the patty melt. has to be the best one I have ever had. The servers were welcoming and friendly.

Let me start out by saying that the service was amazing! Super kind people working at Broaddus and clean restaurant. You might be wondering why I’m giving this place 2 star. It’s simply because the food contains a lot of msg. You will feel quite bloated after eating the food (msg = salt). I will say again the food was great, the place is clean , and the service is kind! I just wish the food did not contain msg. ? In one way it was quite upsetting about the msg because you may think that you are ordering a healthy meal option only to figure out after you have eaten it you get that bloated “I’ve just eaten msg feeling”. I know some people may not care about this. I am just making whoever is reading this aware. I know some people may allergic reactions to msg and some people are just health conscious! One of my family members had ordered the burger in a bowl. Because he is on a keto diet, he could not have the regular build a your own burger that comes on a bun. He had ordered it because he thought it was “healthy option” because he is health conscious and he does not care for the “I’ve just eaten msg” feeling. Other than my msg concern, it is a wonderful restaurant. I hope my review can help them to formulate a healthy, keto friendly Cajun seasoning and Cajun sauce!?

Food was delicious...but yall wrong for putting shredded cheese on the chili cheese fries instead of nocho or melted cheese.Burgers 10/10 loved itChilli cheese fries 6/10 if it was a better cheese would have been a 10/10.But nice staff. And food came out pretty fast.

Is this a fashion show or a restaurant? Cashier was more concerned with taking pictures of herself than acknowledging we were standing right there at the counter, paper trays, self serve drinks, fast food environment with HIGH dining prices. Floor was filthy, condiment counter was sticky. Bar was sticky. Maybe I would've let all of this slide had the food had been decent, but when I tell you, to boast best burger in lafayette on your building and then serve a 2/10 DRY burger, BURNT bun, SOGGY lettuce! And lastly never in my life have I seen a mushroom swiss served with a sugary sweet bun. I won't be back!

Not a great add to the Broaddus burger brand. The burgers are dry and taste like the they were precooked for charcoal flavor the re-heated, not a fan. Without changes I'm not a patron.
The Smash Burger is very tasty, and the meat patti is much bigger than I anticipated. Their burger bun is also really good and soft. I recommend it.

I'll start by saying that it's sort of a split decision. I would have rated it higher if I felt that cost versus value was equitable. This is based on the fact that this is a walk up to order, food served on disposables, self serve beverages, etc. That being said, I'm not down with sit down dining prices in a fast food environment. No complaints on the cleanliness of the restaurant or the friendliness of the staff. The food was made to order and delivered hot. I had their signature burger. It didn't wow me, but was good. Seasoned fries were okay(not included with burger). So my verdict is if you're looking for a good burger and cost is not an issue, go for it.

Great burger! Finally, a burger joint that forms their own patties with REAL beef. No premade frozen patties like most places. Staff is good. I don't know how I feel about ordering at the counter and getting condiments and drinks yourself. But not a big trade off. Just happy about the deliciousness!
