I've been wanting to try this place for a year, but every time I make it to Lafayette, I've gotta be somewhere else. Finally, I made the time.I had super high hopes after talking to a few folks about the joint, and it was.....not as great a place as I was told to expect.But. The. Burgers. O.M.G. THE BURGERS!!I had a Double Cajun Blaze all the way, and it was fan-dam-tastic! Just the right kind and amount of heat to fall in love with, but not enough to make you uncomfortable. Perfect. The grilled onions on the burger gave it a sweet bite that just put the icing in this fabulous burger.Unfortunately, there was a sign on the door stating that they would be closing on December 24th and moving to another location. The future location was not shared, and the employees that I spoke with said that they didn't know either. Hopefully it pops back in in a better location. The bad - it's located in what appears to be an old Wendy's store. Now folks, if Wendy's or McDonalds, or Burger King can't make money in a location, you better have something flat amazing if you are going to give it a spin there. Burger Tyme has a burger unlike any I've ever experienced, and it's AWESOME.I hope I get the chance to have another.

Good burger but messy. Cajun Blaze with everything. I hate that it costs so much but that’s everywhere.

Oh Okay

Prices. Why am I spending $11 on a fish sandwich without the combo? This spot replaced an old Wendy's spot, less than 3 years old. After you charge for tomatoes, onions, pickles...basically everything that should come on a sandwich for free. My total was $11. I know what I said. I can see why your restaurant is always empty. $8 for a sandwich when your drive thru menu is WRITTEN ON PAPER.

Nothing like it was in the seventies. Burger was like it was cooked two days ago. There were four or five people working so no excuse. Waste of $20. Very

Had the displeasure 6 weeks ago to sit it the drive-thru for 20 minutes for my fish and fries. Fish was HARD AND SQUARE (NO EXTRA TARTAR AS ORDERED) COLD SOGGY FRIES AND THE FLATEST COKE I'VE EVER TASTED. absolutely one of the worst $10 meals I've ever had. The employee was unapologetic, apathetic and snarly. Never again. Ever.

I was pleasantly surprised in my burger and fries! Full of flavor and seasoned just how I like it, spicy!

I was amazed! This is one of only a few places I'll purposely go to for burgers in Lafayette now. The meat on the Cajun Blaze actually had flavor cooked in. All around juicy, tasty burger, and the cajun fries were thick and had good seasoning. Also, the man who took our order was very nice.

Excellent and just as good as they were back in the 90s. Definitely check it out if you remember how it used to be. The staff were super friendly and the food was beyond good. We’ll definitely be back.

My order was delivered so I did not have an in-restaurant experience where the food may have been fresh. My order consisted of the below:Small frySmall Tyme (mayo, ketchup, cheese, and bacon)T-Dog (With chili, cheese, and mayo)Honestly other than the fries everything was rather disappointing. The fries were actually pretty good and is what prompted to give it a 3 star instead of something lower. They were crispy and well salted. The burger and the chili dog were oddly bland. The patty although not super dry had no flavor to it. I considered getting the spicy burger to ensure some flavor, but I wanted a variety to taste so settled for the small tyme and T-dog. The bun for both were okay. The bacon I got on the burger was cooked really well, not to hard or to rubbery. Everything about the chili dog was bland. Over-all I probably won't be ordering or visiting this place in the future, but it could be a one-off so I would implore everyone to try it for yourselves. Hopefully they take these reviews into consideration and begin seasoning their burgers because they definitely have potential. The price seems fair for the amount of food you get.
