I went to this pie shop when I came home to visit family and will never be back for several reasons. I could clearly hear the manager being loudly rude to the employees… which is honestly unprofessional and uncalled for. Their pies were nowhere near as good as any other ACTUAL local bakery. I could’ve spent less money on a frozen pie at the grocery store for the same quality. Just go to Pouparts.

We loved this place. Honestly, not only the best pie in Lafayette, maybe the best I ever had. Every time someone came to visit, we would take them here. BUT they changed their crust. It used to be shortbread. Now it is just a regular pie crust and not even a good one. A bad grocery store tasting pie crust. My mom is visiting and I wanted to give them another chance. Since I know the new crust is not good, I called ahead and specifically asked for some pies with the shortbread crust. It did not have it. So I asked them to replace it and the manager came out and told me "that's the shortbread." I took a bite in front of her, and showed her. She just said "I don't know what to tell you, that is the shortbread crust." So, they either do not make shortbread crust anymore and use a regular bland crust, or they changed their recipe and now make the worlds most disgusting shortbread. Either way, I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore

Super thin flaky crust cradles delicious fruity or creamy filling that reminds one of the love Grandma put into her pies. Their pies are testaments to pride, constant efforts to improvement and giving a real slice of professional accomplishment to the public.

The pies are good but twice as much as Poupart. I tried to order an apple pie for Thanksgiving but told they weren't taking orders and to be there at 9:00 which I was. The apple pies would not be ready for another hour (I had driven from Scott and had an appointment to get to and would come back later that morning). They wouldn't hold a pie or let me prebuy it one. I couldn't preorder on the website a few days before Thanksgiving but could've the week before. When I inquired about the 50 apple pies on the counter, the girl told me they were ordered many months in advance. I am not stupid. They have lost my business and I'll be sure to spread my experience.
