Ordered three different entrees to taste. After making happy plates I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Terry. He seasoned each dish to perfection. Ms. Jodi topped it off with the Makers Mark old fashion. When in town definitely will be returning. Best Italian restaurant I've had in the Lafayette area. Ask for Ms Jodi as your waitress and Mr Terry as your chef

They have the best hamburger steak I’ve ever tasted in my life. Every bite was nothing short of amazing. The green beans and potatoes as a side were cooked and seasoned to perfection as well. I work around the corner and got this meal to go. After I devoured every last bite in my to go box, I called them and asked them to let the chef know just how pleased I was with this incredible dish. I will be returning on a regular basis ! 5 ⭐️

Have been several times & had been over the top. This last time though service was not great, appetizers & food took long to get, one dish (the veal picatta) was WAY to lemony & got that person sick later that evening. They only ate half of the dish. 2 days later they washed the noodles several times before reheating & it was still too lemony to eat (they didn’t want to get sick again). Could have been an off night, & we will give them another try since we love going there.
I had lunch here recently and I came away very impressed. The food was excellent. Neat ambience and great service. I had the grilled chicken panini and pasta salad. Also had a cup of tomato basil soup, which was quite delicious. The only downside to this eatery is the limited parking situation. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Very authentic food, in fact 1 or 2 dishes were better there than in Italy! Definitely will be going again soon. Our waiter was very pleasant & never rushed us.Parking: On the corner, so parking is plentiful in front & on side.
I don't know why it took me so long to try this restaurant, but it's one of the best Italian places in Lafayette. It's become my go-to Italian restaurant over the last year. It's rare that I can say that every meal I've ever ordered from a restaurant is excellent but Cafe Bella has done just this. It's a true gem.
Came in at 11 am when they opened for lunch. We ordered right away. 11:45 NO SIGN OF FOOD! 12 noon NO SIGN OF FOOD! When you see other reviews saying they waited for a long time, believe it. What a waste of time! The waitress is not very happy to be working there either. Another sign that this place is SHIT! The Frank Sinatra CD is on loop, so after waiting forever, you hear the CD repeats! DO NOT COME HERE! Be warned! Update: asked the manager to follow on our food, she dismissed me. SHE WAS VERY RUDE! Her name must be KAREN. Meanwhile, about 5 take our orders passed us by! We left at 12:15 after taking a few bites of our long awaited dishes!

Just recently got a recommendation for this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious and the atmosphere relaxing. We are planning on this being a place we frequent!

Our waiter came once to mention he was busy and over the next hour he never came back. We ordered drinks by shouting at him and after an hour they delivered them watered down and hot. Unfortunate because the first time we went was pretty good.
