We were here with Cajun Food Tours. What a treat!! We taste tested red beans and rice, pork, and fried plantain. Each dish was delicious! The flavors were very pleasant. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who happily answered our questions and was an overall great guy! Can't wait to return to try more of their dishes! Thanks so much for having us!!

For me and my family it was disappointing, the mojitos are good, but the food was mediocre. The only thing that we all agreed on was the chicken soup, yuka and plantains. For a Latin restaurant very disappointing. They need to work on their seasonings, very bland

Food is great. You may wait a minute to have your order taken and food may take about 15 minutes to come out because its made fresh from what I can tell.

Sometimes when you order a bowl they give you a cup size. When you point out the error they pretend that they don't understand.

My husband and I ate at Cafe Habana City twice in the month of May as we were in Lafayette for doctor's appointments. On our first visit, we ordered a Sandwich Cubano and a Media Noche with black beans and rice as one side and maduritos. We could only eat half of our sandwiches so we got the remainder to take home. All was delicious. We then placed an order to-go for dinner. My husband ordered the Cuban Classic and I ordered the Parrilada Habanera. Again, excellent choices. On our second visit, we split the Cubano and maduritos. Again, we placed an order to go for dinner. This time we both ordered the Cuban Classic with moros y cristianos, black beans and maduritos. YUMMY!!! Authentic Cubana food.

We went a little randomly to this restaurant...and we regret not going there before. The cuisine is typical, not "Americanized", fragrant, fresh. Tre lecces is delicious. The ceviche excellent, fresh, with its mango, coriander. The succulent sauces. Rafael is an amazing host, kind, good advice. And icing on the cake: prices are really affordable. So don't hesitate, don't think: go ahead!
