I understand the concept of first come first serve for food make to order, but tonight I went in for just 1 slice of cake to-go… the cake is fabulous but I literally waited 25 minutes for this slice… something that was just sitting in the back refrigerator, could have been in my hands in 6 minutes, being that it wasn’t even busy in there, there was maybe 12 guests total between the patio and the bar. 25 minutes… for something that did not have to be prepared on the spot, it’s already made and sitting in the fridge. I started to wonder if they were making the cake from scratch when I ordered the damn thing.

Certainly one of our favorite places in Lafayette! Not going to lie, I wish I had known about this place earlier when I was in college. The food is amazing and the employees are great to interact with. Honestly, nothing bad here to say about Caffe Cottage!

Such a special place. Rustic, funky, charming. The most comfy place to have a cup of coffee with a friend. I also go there to work. Love the place. The owner is such a great woman and the staff are a great group of young people, helpful and attentive. Great coffee and desserts. Make it your coffee place!
