Incredible! An amazing, delicious meal with outstanding service. Charley G's is consistent with its amazing service, delicious food and lovely ambiance. The piano player was very good, yet the music was subtle so we could have a conversation. Charley G's is one of my two favorite restaurants in Lafayette.

We were disappointed in the menu. We really looked forward to lobster fries as an appetizer. We thought the fish selection for the market special was an of choice and we struggled to decide what we would want to eat from the small selection on the menu. While we did settle on the shrimp risotto jambalaya and the king salmon we were still a little disappointed by the charge on such a simple dish the jambalaya was. We did get a dessert to take home for my Boyfriend's birthday but have not yet tasted it. We did enjoy our time in this quiet atmosphere and the things we did taste were good just not what was expected for this caliber of restaurant, and the one thing he was so looking forward to were the lobster fries. Our waitress was a little odd she didn't get our drink order together which meant our drinks came out at separate times and she didn't offer us a second cocktail either.

The food and the service were phenomenal! The food was excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The service was just as good as the food. Our server was friendly and attentive. The staff checked in at just the right times and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

We went here for our anniversary. Food was great mock tails were great. They even decorated the table for us.

The food was good, but, certain items were overpriced. The service was okay, but, our waitress seemed more concerned with polishing wine glasses at the next table. We brought in a nice bottle of red wine in and she didn't offer a decanter as the table next to us had. Compared to the last time, it wasn't as good as expected.

Exceptional service! Our wait staff was very attentive and made our evening very special. Food was excellent!

Always experience excellent food, drinks and service! We love the live music and the ambience!

The FOOD WAS AMAZING, EVERYTHING ABOUT THE RESTAURANT WAS GREAT ! The Anniversary card was cute and the staff signed very thoughtful!!! I had Surf &Turf the WHOLE MEAL WAS FINGER LICKING ! The Chefs did a Phenomenal Job ! THANK YOU

Service was Excellent. Good for Date night. Good Ambience. Great Food. Steak was very good.

The food was delicious and the service was good. Charging $2.00 for a blue cheese olive was outrageous. Other restaurants such as Mazen Grill or City Club do not charge extra for their olives.

A great experience! Will definitely return.

Food and service were very good. They have an extensive wine and drink list.

Someone in my party raved about the duck gumbo. The surf and turf was cooked perfectly, full of flavor.

Charley G's is definitely one of the finest restaurants in Acadiana etc. People still dress up to go there for the most part and its just a beautiful setting. Service begins when you walk in the door and continues until you leave. Our server and assistant sever where there for us and did a wonderful job, Drinks, appetizers and entree where all excellent. Love it every time we have dinner at Charley G's.

One of the best South Louisiana restaurants. Can't go wrong on the menu. Impeccable service. Excellent food, drinks as well as atmosphere with the piano.

Steak was perfectly cooked and lobster was not overly seasoned. The salad was excellent. Fantastic service but I think they came by the table too much. The red wine was served much too cold!
