This place is full of crap/games
2 sacks of crawfish and more then half was dead ending up with maybe a half a sack for $180
Lady is full of bs there! She held crabmeat not for me as she promised. Sad đ
If I could give a 0 star rating, I would⊠This company is a southern joke.
First of all, they are OVER CHARGING for crawfish. Market price is $2.00 right now and theyâre trying to charge almost double that.
Second, my husband ordered two bags of medium and one small for the kids, and they really tried to give him all 3 bags small.
When he noticed the size, he went back inside and told them to give him what he paid for, and all they wanted to do was argue with him saying he got what he ordered, as if he doesnât know what he is looking at!
After all that, he came home and we started cleaning them. Or so we thought. We soaked everything multiple times, and soaked in salt right before boiling. That crawfish was NASTY! And look, my man cooks his butt off, but there was a lot that was dead before it even got to my house, then a whole bunch died over night, then when it was time to eat them they were horrible quality. If I didnât know any better, Iâd think these came from a sewer ditch. A lot of them were black and gooey on the inside, hollowed out, majority of them tasted like dirty mud despite the amount of times we cleaned themâŠ.
People were running back and forth to the bathroom in the middle of eating. After everything was said and done, only about half of the 3 sacks we bought were actually edible.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.
Was told I could buy small medium or large live crawfish. Of course we paid for the Large it was 81 dollars and change. Todays market price is 2 dollars per lb for live. When I got home the crawfish we were told we're large were all small medium. Im extremely pissed I called the manager and she argued with me and said the crawfish were indeed large. Which is a complete lie and I also told her they are over charging customers because market price on today 05/03/25 is 2.00 per lb. She wanted me to bring them back but I live out of town. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to purchase crawfish these folks are liars and beaters. First and last time buying anything from them!!!!
Love the boiled crabs, THEY WERE DELICIOUS đđđ
My go to for FRESH SEAFOOD! Know your Seasons! Pictures say 1000 words! Yummy!!
Selection is always on point and amazing quality.
Picked up a sack of large crawfish and paid $100 for the live crawfish and over $30 for lbs of shrimp. The crawfish had more dead than alive and the ones that were alive was small and very disappointing. Do not recommend buying from here. Complete waste of money.
Crawfish was so delicious and full. Best ever

Excellent Seafood! Friendly staff with wonderful service. This is my go-to for all my seafood needs...if you are looking for it, there is a great chance they have it!?
I'm posting this because of how my husband was treated when he went to pick up our crawish order. We ordered 2 sacks of crawfish that were quoted to us at $125 per sack. When he arrived to pick them up this morning the price had changed to $150 per sack. He asked why didn't they call the people who pre-ordered, because that is a $50 difference, he may not have brought enough cash. He also asked if they would honor the quoted price. The lady at the counter called the "owner" to have him talk to my husband to explain that the price went up overnight and he couldn't honor the quoted price; which would have been understandable, however, it would have been nice to know in advance instead of springing it on them at the register. Some people just can't squeeze out extra money on the fly these days. Still my husband was going to buy them, but then the man proceeds to ask, 'if the gas station or Walmart goes up on their prices in the middle of the night, do we expect them to call us?' The most insulting analogy ever to come out of the face of a small business owner. {First of all, if I pre-order something from Walmart, my price is locked in (and they will do a price match); and gas stations are a dime a dozen.... competition is makes it easy to find better deals with savings apps, coupons. etc.} The owner also advised us that we can "take it or leave it". Well, we left it. My sister-in-law moved to West Virginia after Katrina and has place a $1200- $2000 seafood order every year since then. We will not be using Chez Francois to fill those orders ever again. There are too many other seafood businesses out there I'd prefer to give my hard earned money to. I refuse to support someone who doesn't respect my sacrifice. We did use a local competitor and happily paid $150 per sack. It is worth the extra 30 minutes in my round trip to patron a small business that recognizes how to treat customers.
A Lafayette institution known for great selection, reasonable prices, and working with a local community. Highly recommend!
