This place is a hidden gem. Maybe the best Chinese food in town.

My first time here was okay, I tried the noodles, but I did not like them (too greasy/oily and tasteless), and that’s probably why I never came back in almost more than a year. However, today I decided to give this pace another chance. This time I tried the fried rice, amazing (fried rice never disappoints, loll), and chicken sesame. It was good, with big portions, I would prefer a little bit more rice and less chicken (in my opinion is too much sauce and make it cloying) but overall it’s okay. I think is a good, quick and affordable food. The fried rice is the lifesaver for now.

China One stands alone for some of the best and most authentic Chinese cuisine in Lafayette. I have tried the rest and China One is the best. I truly recommend this place if you want Chinese food for lunch or dinner check them out.

A quaint little China town restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana that serves Moo Shu, same dish that’s always mentioned in all the “Jackie Chan” movies? It even could be respected for review by the YouTuber Xiaomanyc? When you plan to take out chinese or dine in, so rickshaw your way to some great tasting authentic food.

My noodles were oily and had a poor flavor - I ordered noodles and vegetables. They left out one of my orders for vegetable egg rolls. The orange chicken had a very faint flavor of orange. I will not be wasting my money on the place again. I definitely do not recommend this place at all.

We go here often and it's always great. A Lafayette icon for Chinese dining in or carry out, you won't go wrong with China one.
