So I Order a whole ham&cheese poboy yesterday and go to Robley to pick it up. Paid cash for a whole sandwich and then get home and it's only a 1/2. So I called and twice had to tell the young lady you can't issue me a credit over the phone because I paid cash. I said politely I would come and get the other1/2. So I got back in my truck drove 15min & went to the drive thru as insturcted.Get there it's not ready. Waited another 10-15 min. had to go inside and complain then about 5 min. later finally got the other 1/2.What really upset me was there was no customer service or sense of urgency to correct the problem. When I went in the employees were standing around socializing. Now I don't know if the owner or whoever cares but to me regardless of how much you are being paid you are hired to do a job and if you don't feel that way then quit. But to walk out to my vehicle with a soured look on your face try to remember I didn't screw the order up your employees did. Had it been handled correctly to begin with I wouldn't have had to wait ''ANOTHER'' 30 minutes.

Lack luster gumbo: Arrived just after opening, ordered chicken and sausage gumbo with extra rice. Gumbo arrived and was luke warm. Had a overpowering taste of roux which really made the meal unworthwhile. I've eaten at Chris's a number of times before and not had this issue so there is the unknown of why it was soo bad this time. I will think twice before visiting again.

Chris's Special is a yummy blend of three meats. I got mine with lettuce and tomato instead of cabbage. Really tasty, would order it again. The atmosphere is loud so keep that in mind if you want to have a meaningful conversation with your group.

Let me say that I have frequented Chris’ for many years and this is truly the first time I have been disappointed.I called my order in at approximately 5:30, was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Left my house about 5:50(I live about 6 streets over from Chris’) got there and my order was not ready. I finally got my order well after 6:00.I also ordered the gumbo and asked to just have chicken and not any sausage. Well I had more sausage and very minimal chicken and the gumbo seemed very salty!!Not a happy customer last night! But I will be back!
