Haven't been there in a little while so decided to get lunch. Got the Chris specality poboy with onion ringS and it did not disapoint. DELICIOUS AS ALWAYS. Gentleman in the drive threw was so friendly and no delays. GREAT LUNCH!!!!

This is a great local place to support. The food is very delicious and the service is good. I haven't had anything that I didn't like and I think their gumbo is the number one best in the city. The prices are good for the food you get. The gravy for the roast beef or the special is fantastic.
I really wish they would update it just a little, mainly the gross floor.

What even?? I have never had gumbo like this. I even make it at home, but CLEARLY have made mistakes because I've never tasted something so...amazing. The catfish has to be fresh, so delicious and flavorful. The Muffaletta was a new experience and also phenomenal. The guys at the counter make you feel like you are already friends The moment you walk in. This is a very understated gem in Lafayette and we will be back. Just hopeful I can get that gumbo in a family size portion to take back home. Sorry, no pictures we were starving and it was so good!
Found hair in gumbo more than once and management wasn’t great Nasty dirty tables that had flies on tables Bathrooms I had to hold it bc of how nasty they was Surprised health department hasn’t shut them down yet So sad quality went down hill
