Won’t be a returning customer. I order salads from here frequently and always request no cheese due to an allergy. When I got home, I found cheese on the salad. I contacted the store and was told by the manager that I would need to bring the salad back in person to have it remade, and that a credit could not be issued for their mistake. Very disappointing handling of a food allergy and customer service issue. Please be aware of their policy, especially if you get all the way home.

Waited 15 minutes to be greeted. 5 people complained about the slow service while we were there. One of the employees was more concerned with putting lipstick on than helping customers. I’ve yet to have a positive experience here. I won’t be back.

Extremely disappointing after many good experiences.
I have ordered from Chris Po Boy on Pinhook many times, and overall my past experiences have been good. This to go order was completely different and honestly one of the worst I have had.
We ordered two large gumbos, fries, a whole Chris’s Special, a whole roast beef po boy with no mayo, and a half fried shrimp po boy. We were told the order would be ready in 20 minutes, but we waited more than an hour.
When we finally got the food, the order was completely wrong. We received no gumbo. The fries were cold. They gave us an entire fried shrimp po boy we did not order. The only things that were correct were the roast beef po boy with no mayo and the half fried shrimp po boy.
On top of all of that, we had to make a second trip back just to get the items we originally paid for.
After so many good experiences here, this was a huge letdown. For the long wait time, the incorrect order, and the inconvenience of driving back again, this visit was unacceptable. I really hope they get things back on track, because this was nowhere near the level of service or quality I used to expect.

The service was good and the place has a small town kinda atmosphere. People from all walks of life enjoy eating here. You may see suits and ties at one table and the very next table overalls, t-shirts and work boots. The food is excellent. I've eaten there 3 times quality of food was the same all 3 times. Chris' special is very good but my favorite is the muffuletta.

I spent $56.50 on 4 whole poboys. I called in my order. 2 Roast Beef 1 shrimp and 1 half Roast beef half shrimp! Roast beef was so salty just could not eat it & shrimp were so over cooked it was like chewing rubber! Very disappointed!

Very good gumbo and muffletta, but service is pretty slow. The server was apologetic and trying their best.
