DeanO's Pizza South

Shout out to Deano's! Tonight they had to deal with 45+ 50 year class alumni from Comeaux High. I did not get our waiters name, he brewed a fresh pot of coffee just for me. More over no one sitting at my table had any complaints. Please give kudos to him. We were sitting in the front table by the windows.

Love sitting at the bar, drinking a big cold draft beer or cocktail and watching a game while eating one of their amazing pizzas out some wings. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great, and the pizza and service is even better

Another of the great restaurants in Lafayette. The wife and I were there last night. We each had a margarita on the rocks (their possible combinations are endless). Our server was Cole, who, as we found out, had just recently started. We each ordered a small build-it-yourself pizza. Wow! Cole delivered the pizzas quickly. The pizza was amazing! We each could only finish half of it—we brought the rest home. Cole checked on us several times, just to make certain that our drinks and our pizza were what we wanted. Wayne spoke to the manager giving Cole compliments, and complimenting the kitchen for such great pizza.

We have been here several times and it was okay. It has been a while since our last visit to Deano's South and we were amazed at the changes. This was not okay... IT WAS PERFECT! Today is Mardi Gras Day and the Deano's we normally go to is near the parade routes and we thought they would be busy. It was a good chance to go to Deano's South and give them another try. We are glad we did. First of all, our server was Kate. She was one of the best servers we have ever had at either Deano's, and we have been eating at our local Deano's since 1976 (It was the location of our first date!!!). She was nice, polite, gave us our time to decide what we wanted, but came back at a perfect amount of time. I wanted something different. We normally get Pizza or wings which are always great, but I wanted something different today. I ordered a Jazz Combo Po-boy with no lettuce or tomato. I had never had one for some reason in the 49 years we have been dining at Deano's. Kate recommended that I add bacon. When the sandwich came it was one of the best po-boys I have ever had at any restaurant. Kate was right on target when she suggested adding bacon! I don't know if I have ever had Fries at Deano's. They were perfectly made. Crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and cooked the exact right amount. My wife had the crawfish nachos as her meal. That is never a poor choice and she said they were delicious as always. All of our food came out quickly and very hot!!! Hot food is one of my pet peeves and this was served perfectly. On a scale of 1-5 I would have rated it a 7 of it was allowed. A perfect lunch in a crowded restaurant. Superior job Deano's. Deano's was packed, but they had plenty of staff and everything was quick and correct.

Order the burger which have ordered before and shared. Menu says 8oz. Thats 4 oz for 2 people. Not this time. Shrinkflation! Just want to know what Im getting so don't leave the table hungry. I'm small, doesn't take much. Just want to get what the menu tells me I'm getting.

The service that my child and I received at this location was VERY disappointing. They were relatively slow at the time that we decided to dine in, so I’m really not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Our waiter came out to let us know that our SMALL pizza had been burnt and dropped on the floor. At this point we had already been waiting an hour for our food….he apologized and let us know that it was being remade. When he came back with the new pizza, I noticed and let him know that it was also burnt all on the bottom. He apologized and asked if we wanted them to remake it….which would’ve probably taken an additional hour. I declined as my child was very hungry by this time. I don’t go ANYWHERE looking for “free” items or “discounts”, but I DO look for good customer service. A simple offer of a cheese stick(there was a small child at the table), a pizza that was not burnt, or the courtesy of the manager coming over would’ve been a commendable gesture at the time. However, nothing happened…we were offered a to-go box for our burnt pizza. Do better….

Had the Fiesta Salad and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Shared by 2, and took Salad home. Everything was delicious.

In my opinion, this is just as good as the other Deano's in Lafayette. Though some people tend to think that higher in pizza is overrated, I enjoy Deano's Pizza. Their crust is crunchy and the pizzas are always on point. My favorite is the T-Rex. I recently found out that you can add things like spicy mayo or pepper jelly to the top. I've already tried the spicy mayo and it was good and I can't wait to try the pepper jelly next! Try Deano's if you haven't yet, you won't regret it.

either DeanO's is always a winner. love to try the pizzas of the month.(they've been fantastic this year!) but always hit my favorites. executioner and Buffalo.

I ate a Dino’s on 9 August around noon and I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the service. It was all fine until I asked for a side of marinara to go with my fried eggplant and I was charged $1.50. The menu was not in front of me so I was unaware of the charge and the server did not notify me that I will be charged for this. I asked her to dispute it I got up there. She start accepting my payment without even telling me the update of my claim, and she really did not answer my question and referring me to our manager, which I found to be deplorable

Excellent pizza. Cooked perfectly. Crispy like we like it. Great chocolate martini. Came out I’m believably quick. Friendly staff.
