Ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice & peas and everything was delicious. Lafayette doesn’t have many restaurants that serve Jamaican food like this so I really hope this place survives because it’s fantastic. Can’t wait to try other menu items. I came in for dinner around 7. It took an hour for my 2 plates. I was frustrated but at least it was good. Flavorful, the rice and peas were ok, plantain was ok but the jerk chicken was falling off the bone. Throw some extra jerk sauce on there when you get it!

All the good reviews on this spot are from people who I think are just being too nice.Today was my 2nd visit to this place I tried their jerk chicken n their Mac n cheese pie. If anyone pays attention to the pictures in the reviews of the mac n cheese pie. You'd clearly see that it never looks the same, it's inconsistent. Mines was somewhat cold n floating in a wet cheesy sauce like. Cheap macaroni , very disappointing! Nothing like a macaroni n cheese pie at all. It's supposed to be one of their favorites, hmmm. I've never tried jerk chicken before, it was ok I guess but definitely not jumping off the plate like in the reviews! Twice is enough for me and my wallet to believe.
The fried fish was delicious, and my husband had the jerk chicken and ox tails ?
