THIS IS MY GO TO SPOT. Dwyer's is the first place I ate when I moved to Lafayette 7 yrs ago. I have eaten there almost every week in that time. The food is incredibly consistent. The service is second to none(especially in the south). I am usually a creature of habit and once I find something on a menu I love, then that's what I order for good. At Dwyers I order several items bc I just don't have a favorite. I really love the BLT, and the plate lunches are the best!

Lunch with my 3 kids. 4/4 empty plates! Even the picky kid liked the chicken strips! The grilled shrimp was good. The grilled chicken salad was perfect- decent amount of chicken and perfectly flavored.

Good basic diner. Best part is how quick they are with bringing food out. Minus stars for cleanliness at the table. There was trash at the table they seated me. I also didn't particularly like the hash browns but my egg sandwich was fine.

Downtown Lafayette, but a hopping little place !! Parking is easy- right across the street.
Service and food were top notch.. No wait to sit. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. We were there for lunch and it wasn't so noisy we couldn't hear each talk.
The menu is quite yummy. You wanna get one of everything! Our food was served quickly and delish !

We just happened to be in downtown area, but they have another one on Johnston. Might be easier to get to, especially if you are just passing thru or only there for a short visit.
