We didn’t find anything to complain about. Our waiter, Alex, was very warm and inviting. The atmosphere was very casual and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Crab Benedict, omelet, beignets and a huge fruit plate to share for 2 people. I think the beignets were the best I ever had! And we didn’t take home any leftovers!!

We've been coming here 2 sometimes 3x a week spending at least $27 each time. The last time we came on Aug 28 the food was absolutely disgusting. The cabbage was burnt and the turkey was mostly fat and skin. The substituted a side of beans bc they ran out of the side o requested didn't inform me until I picked up and it was made. Those beans were hard as rock. The manager is a horrible example of how you should treat customers. We've been coming here since I was a little girl in the 90s I will never again patron this place ever again. A Lafayette native born and raised will never set foot inside this establishment. I requested a call from the owner and was rudely informed they are busy and I would like them to know the horrible ride condescending management they have in charge. Truly disgusted don't waste your time food is not as great as other places around town. This place has gone down tremendously over the years. A loyal but no longer will be customer

I've eaten at Dwyer's several times over the last 20 years and have always enjoyed their food. This time was no different. Our waitress was on top of things and kept our coffee cups filled. The restaurant was reasonably clean, especially given the crowd. They have a decent selection on the menu and I've never ordered anything that I didn't like. Parking downtown can be a bit of a challenge but their food and service are worth it.

Walked in on a Saturday morning for breakfast and with a group of 5, and we sat ourselves. The restaurant was not busy, and it took about 25 min to get our drink orders and we said we needed a min to look at the menu... The server said ok and forgot about us. We finally flagged down another server, and he said he would go find our server. It took about 30 min for her to get our orders, and then that's basically when our service ended. 1 hour later, 2 people out of the 5 got their food, it was cold, and then 1 hour and 30 min later, they brought the rest of the table theirs. Not to mention, no refills, no explanation on why the slow service. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. This is definitely not a place you should visit...we will not be back.

I dined in on a Sunday and got the plate lunch- wow, it was so delicious and very inexpensive for the amount of food I got. It easily could've fed me for two meals. The eggplant casserole was especially delicious. Awesome service, too.
