I've been following El Hidalguense Mexican Restaurant for a while now. And decided today I wasn't going to Lafayette again without trying it. I had the Enchilada Mixta con Cecina and my wife had the Birria Tacos. Amazing food! I have a hard time describing how delicious our meals were. But, we're definitely going back! The owner was so friendly, checking on us making sure we were enjoying our food. Our server was very helpful picking out our food since it was our first visit....read full review
