El Paso Mexican Grill Carencro

The restaurant is nice, enjoyable, and overall welcoming. Our food order was messed up and fixed by taking the meat off of the messed up order and added to the new order. The queso was delicious and the drinks were great. Not sure who our server was we had many people come and go bringing food out. After food was delivered we never got any refills for our drinks just someone else came by picked up plates and brought the bill

The people that work out front are very nice. The floor was sticky. The chips were stale. The taquitos in my freezer are more Mexican than the food we ordered. The nachos looked like they had been sitting out for hours already made. The rice had no real flavor to it. The size of a small queso dip is quite the joke. I've ordered from the Location in New Orleans before and my portions were bigger and the food was way better even to go. I can only assume a different owner for each Location at this point. I've only been to the ambassador Location in lafayette before and it was way better than this Location. The to go order was highly disappointing so I'll be sure not to waste my time going dine in there. I know to-go is never as good as dine in but unless they can majorly improve on what we ordered then once was enough punishment.

It is a cut and paste South Louisiana chain Mexican restaurants. The waitress was new so no issue there. Food was ok. Not rave-able but decent. Not gonna lie...they are really nice job with veggie fajitas.

Asked for a cheese enchilada with chili sauce on top and got a ground beef enchilada with white queso on top. Waited for 30 minutes to get our food. Got no refills. Had to ask other servers for assistance. Ended up leaving without a meal because they took too long to bring me my enchilada after they took it back. Do not recommend this place.

I have been here before and had a very good experience. But this one. Food was almost all overcooked. I had crunchy shrimp. Enough said. Appetizers were on point. Service was awesome. But kitchen was shorthanded as management said. Yet mains were way overcooked.

The food is awful. The worst “Mexican” restaurant I’ve ever tried. I ordered a burrito lunch special and the store-bought flour tortilla was covered in a Tostitos-like red sauce that made it soggy. Would hardly call it a burrito since they barely added any meat. The rice and beans don’t have much flavor at all. It’s a shame that this place is considered “Mexican” food.

Great service, food was average, atmosphere was nice and clean. The room was very loud. If you're looking for a quiet place with good music I'd go elsewhere. If your looking for loud talking, loud music, energetic atmosphere this is it! There were 2 live NOT talented singers.

Order food to go and when I got home the order was totally wrong. I called and spoke with Manager he adv all he can do is refund after driving 30 minutes to get there and 30 minutes back home to realize order was incorrect. Never visiting place again.

We always enjoy the food and quick service. I wish I had caught our server's name last weekend because he had the best energy and personality and even saved my baby from pushing her chair back and falling. He caught her chair mid-fall and I was so so grateful. Food is always delicious too.

Long black hair coming from inside my taco and along the plate. Purchased 4 meals totaling $74.80. Our waitress was really nice but couldn’t talk much english. She sent a manager to us and we showed him the hair. He offered us an apology but No type of compensation was offered so I paid for that hairy taco. I understand this happens because hair nets are not worn but if they take that risk of not wearing one then they ought to compensate me for me my dish their employees hair was in. I won’t go back to a place that I had to pay for hair in my food. But over all food was tasty. Loved my tamales! My daughter enjoyed her meal but said the meat was a bit salty. We loved the rice, beans, queso, guacamole, the chips, and salsa had just the right amount of kick! My son got a steak quesadilla and said it was ok. He is partial to another place, sorry.

Cheese dip comes out with a skin on the top cause I'm sure it sat for a while before coming to the table. Ordered a top shelf margartia on the rocks, they cannot make drinks at this place! In the past I got a Paloma which had no trace of grapefruit, which is mostly what the drink consists of. And as well, the margarita was very orange tasting, I could not detect any lime whatsoever. Chimichanga had absolutley no crunch to it, it was like rubber. And they charged me $5 for a very, very small dish of quacamole, which was supposed to come on the plate as the waitress stated. On others plates you could tell the beans, etc had been on the plate for a while they were dry on top and looked very unappetizing. I was attending a birthday party and had no choice except to eat at this place. Otherwise my husband and I avoid it like the plaugue. Always a disappointment!!
WOW! Nice comment by managment. Yeah, I am "upset" that I paid $72 for 1 COLD queso for the table and 2 CRAPPY drinks, an a la cart chimichanga with a $5 TINY bowl of guacamole. The waitress was nice, but I am stating the facts of my visit which were subpar at best! Your drinks and queso are the worst in town and that's a fact!!
