The fried shrimp was good. The tartar sauce wasn't. No cocktail sauce. The french fries were mediocre and boring. The center of my hush puppies was not fully cooked. Our waitress was great, the atmosphere was nice and clean. Confused by walking into Ema's but seated inside Bailey's. Might consider returning one day to try a meal off of the breakfast menu.
I somehow never realized Ema's served breakfast until recently, when I searched Google Maps for a place to grab some food in the morning. This place was a hit!
Service was on top of things from the get-go and was very kind and accommodating the entire time my party was there. I quite enjoyed the music being played while I was eating (The Smiths, etc.), the tables were spaced out comfortably for the small section in which we were seated, the food was served...

We were a table of 7 and were well taken care of. We had 2 birthdays and asked what could be ordered to make it special. Beignets were suggested and even had a candle. They were so soft and delicious. The food was hot and fresh. I suggest the Zydeco shrimp wrap and onion rings.
