Some of, if not the best sushi I have ever had! Great selection of fresh, unique rolls. The baked salmon is delish along with the Fish Box roll and torched salmon nigiri. Very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. This is a pricer lunch option, but I feel as though the price matches the value!

My wife and I had a little problem… We had just ordered two full boxes of sushi from FishBox, and as soon as we got home, tragedy struck when she accidentally dropped my entire box onto the floor.
Because the sushi at FishBox is so good and I was still craving it, I decided to take a trip back and order another box of the same sushi. The owner happened to be there and jokingly said I must not have gotten enough the first time. I laughed and explained what had happened and how my little tragedy brought me back.
Right after hearing that, he insisted I take the sushi for free. And here I am writing this review to help him in whatever small way I can, because that level of kindness is rare.
FishBox just opened in our area, and my wife and I have already been six times. The quality of the sushi is as good as it gets, and the price is almost unbelievable for what you’re getting. You can pick whatever sushi you want, and they’re constantly bringing out fresh rolls, never anything old or sitting around.
It’s fast, easy, affordable, and absolutely delicious. Plus, the owner and staff all have a genuinely kind energy. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend checking it out. I am very confident they’ll be around for a long long time.

The price: $16.99/lb
Smallest box came up about $13 and held 6-8 pieces including some nigiri.
Great for light eaters! It's by the pound so you can get as little or as much as you want.
Does this place have the most incredible sushi you've ever eaten? No. That's not what this is. It is convenient, some variety, decent if you want a little sushi snack. Pick your pieces, sit down and eat in under 5 minutes.
Overall I was pleased because I need a very light dinner and my needs were meet. I will probably be back for a snack after shopping.

This concept is the best, coming from someone who normally won’t buy sushi because of the high price for a small amount. But the prices here are reasonable for the amount you can get, and I love that I can just walk in, fix exactly what I want and take it to-go. The sushi is also sooo good! I’ve been twice already and will definitely visit again. Highly recommend sushi lovers trying this place out.

Gross!!! We threw our entire box away had to spit out the first bite! We are sushi eaters. So my husband and I really wanted to love this place. Instead, we wasted our money on wet smelly unflavored fish and imitation crab meat. The place smelled horrible. I would give zero stars if I could. You can get way better sushi at your local Chinese buffet or even Sam’s!
Literally the best sushi in Lafayette. So fresh and it's exciting to be able to try everything without buying an entire roll. Such good prices too! My new favorite spot

The place was excellent, the sushi was good, and I felt full. The atmosphere wasn’t too loud, and it was easy enough to get parking. I pray that this place tons of success.

Reasonable priced sushi and rolls with great variety. Just pick out what looks good and pay by the weight. Brand new inside has a polished atmosphere.

This place made me sick for a week. Very bad diarrhea.
Also, it seems like fake heath food. The packaged ginger is FAKE loaded with terrible ingredients and hard to tell what is actually in the sushi since there is no ingredients list.

Fresh, fast, and absolutely delicious! I wish I had thought to snap a photo of my order, because words hardly do it justice. Hands down, it was the best sushi I’ve had in ages. The process is simple and fun—grab a box, pick out the rolls that catch your eye, weigh it, and pay. Everything looked so fresh that it was hard to choose.
Although they have seating available, I brought my order to the hospital to share with my wife, and it was exactly what we needed to lift our spirits that night. The freshness, flavor, and convenience made the whole experience outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

Sushi was pretty good albeit expensive at about 20 dollars per person, which is what I'm used to spending on sushi but that always includes sides, of which there aren't any at Fish Box Sushi. Asking for a tip at check-out at a buffet is WILD btw. Stop that shit right now. Do NOT make the check-out any more awkward than it already is by having the tablet ask for a MINIMUM tip of 18% at a BUFFET ffs

I literally spend 5-10 minutes getting crazy good sushi. I usually spend $20 for a packed small box with nigiri, a coke, and a tip. Whole Foods is selling their sushi comparable with cold Walmart sushi for nearly the same $20… I love this place, I swear I have to hold myself from going everyday. Get the Unagi (Eel), it’s baked and nigiri. It’s so good. I could eat a box of just that. 🙏🍱
