Had another perfect burger salad here! It's always packed but the line always moves fast and tables always open up by the time the food is ready. If not parking in the front, you can always park in the back! Always the freshest food and the best coffee.

To the so called Cajun American, as a true Alpha heterosexual male that has served this great country in the 82nd Airborne. I sir frequent this establishment and absolutely enjoy their vibe, food, coffee, and healthy benefits. As a Alpha male I eat Alpha male food, from the earth as it was intended to feed the machine of man. The burger served top notch, breakfast sandwich fit for a man's appetite. Muffaletta bon appetite, grits and pork slap ya momma good. Banh Mi....scurt, figured it out, the words were just too big for you to fathom. No refried beans, and Taco Bell sir, best refried beans...WHAT!! The nerve to put a one star review, laughable. FIVE MILE, keep up the good work and keep Lafayette Healthy. Thankyou for all that you do and the benefits you provide.

Wonderful meal and vibe. Happy to see Yaupon tea on the menu. The burger was delicious and the salad was amazing. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon. The bathrooms were very clean.

Def the most liberal vibe/place in Louisiana but I guess everyone's gotta have something for everyone everywhere.

Amazing food and great service 👌

SO good every time! One of my favorite lunch spots in town. I get the Sarah Salad almost every time and end up eating on it twice because the portion size is so big for the price. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for something fresh and filling!!

Locally sourced food. My wife is not a fan of bread but she cannot get enough of the breads sold here. The grits are the 11best we have ever had.

I was visiting from Tennessee and found Five Mile Eatery when searching for something healthy and organic. Five Mile was fantastic. Everything was fresh and made with the highest quality ingredients. I personally had the Nutty by Nature espresso drink, Muffaletta, Soup du jour, and kale/pork/egg grits. I was blown away by the flavors and quality. The atmosphere was also very comfortable and inviting. My friend and I had plenty of time to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. I’m very pleased with Five Mile and would look forward to returning any time!

Please. Check this place out. Words don't describe how good the food is here. Everybody who works there is so friendly. I get food from here numerous times a month and have never been disappointed.

Just a fair warning for out of towners- it’s not normal breakfast food, and what they do serve isn’t very good, at least not what our group ordered. I like my homemade whole wheat waffles better than theirs. The 5 mile breakfast came with a salad as the greens, I assumed they would be sautéed greens. It just didn’t go with the egg and sweet potato for me. The cinnamon roll was very airy and had a hint of orange flavor, which may be fine for some people but I prefer my cinnamon rolls to be moist and dense. I wanted orange juice and they only had satsuma juice and it tasted a little rancid. Our group didn’t order any coffee or tea so I can’t speak to their other beverages.
Overall- if the whole foods scene is your jam then you may love this place- for me it was just meh after choosing it based on the Google ratings.
