Great breakfast place in Lafayette, with good coffee choices. Had the breakfast sandwich & it was delish. Was intrigued about the Five Mile breakfast of sweet potatoes w arugula for breakfast, so if I am ever in Lafayette again, will try it. Like that it is also a sober place for those who know what one may be going thru in life. 🤗
Best burger in town at the moment. Always friendly service. I expected hipster snobbery as the vibe. But it’s not like that at all. I’ve seen all age ranges and manner of dress. I’ve never seen any rudeness. And somehow it feels warm and engaging. I’m not an interior decorator, so I don’t know how that kind of magic happens. And BEST burger in town at the moment.
Excellence in every aspect! There’s warmth in this women-owned welcoming restaurant. I’ve enjoyed their Gluten Free options immensely, the fact that their food is grown locally, the freshness, the emphasis on healthy foods that make you feel good while eating them, and long afterwards. Their staff is super friendly as their atmosphere is inviting. Five-Mile is definitely a peaceful oasis in the very middle of a busy center of town.
