I usually give this place (Gretna) a great review, but yesterday we arrived at 2:15, were seated, and gave our drink order (2 beers). 25 minutes later we were still sitting there (still no drinks) as our server passed our booth no fewer than 4 times to deliver bills and go- containers to her tables that had completed their meals. Not once did she deliver food or drink, or stop to take our order. She didn't acknowledge us after seating us until we got up to leave. And she wonders why she hasn't gotten a raise in 17 years. I think she's lucky to still have a job.

Just picked up an order of to go fish. C'mon! Really? The Original Ground Pati on Johnston has the best fried catfish fillets so I thought this location would be the same... NOPE. Not even close. These are fried fish nuggets. The batter was greasy and gross.

They charge your card an extra fee for using it and it doesn't show up on the receipt. My bill was 30.18 on one receipt and 32.44 on another. Seems a little

We went at 3pm. I brought my 2yr old and 12yr old. The place was not crowded. The staff was very friendly and professional. We ordered hamburgers, fries, and onion rings. The burgers we good, but typical. The onion rings were very good! The fries were good as well. All of the food was prepared how we ordered.

Disgusting!!! Horrible!! COLD! With one other table in the restaurant you would think they could have at least served a table of ONE hot food! Evidently they are either used to being told "NO" everything wasn't OK and/or have poor management because my server just preceded to pick up my plate as if it was a compliment. I NEVER write reviews but use them when I'm making decisions and didn't this time! I cannot allow someone to make the same mistake I made today!

Consistently good food. Nice restaurant. You get to enjoy free peanuts while you wait on your food.
We went in and it took at least ten minutes for a waiter to even come to our table. We then had to wait ten more minutes for them to bring us our drinks. Some of us ordered medium cooked burgers, but they were all well done. We were there for at least 50 minutes before we even got our food. There was very few wait staff and the service was terrible. The fries were cold, unsalted, and barely cooked. It was an overall disappointing experience. I definitely won't be going there anytime soon and am very sad because I had so many good memories there from when I was younger. I would not recommend going.

They charge a service fee to use a credit card or debit card... but don't have it posted anywhere in the facilityVery behind the back policy...its actually unlawful to do such a thing with out having posted it or made this aware to customers...We have been going for years.. love the place.. but this is not acceptable..especially since the company claims to be Christians...Please do better for your loyal customer base

Reminded my kids and me of a Gordan Ramsey bad restaurant episode. Took forever to be asked for our drink order and food. My daughter had appetizers as her meal and it came like 30 minutes after the main courses were delivered to everyone. Yes we were a group of 20 but there was only about 4 customers in the rest of the restaurant. About half didn't eat more than a bite or two. A few got meals removed. I ate mine but wasn't happy with it. Even the pickle tasted weird. Not one person ate theirs. Just disappointed in everything. Won't be going back. If I'm driving way to Lafayette, I expect better quality food than my small town.Parking: Most of the parking lot was empty before my group arrived.

Ordered the grass fed beef burger and onion rings. Very disappointed in the quality and value. Service was slow and disinterested. Y'all need to step up your game imho.

Just walked in about 30 minutes ago. Stood in the door way for about 10 minutes and was never even acknowledged. So I walked right out. They had three staff members just standing around the bar not doing a damn thing. The restaurant was dead, so they can't say they were just busy. I will never be back, unbelievable.
