The Wagyu burger was amazing. The California chicken sandwich was also phenomenal. I can’t say that the service was bad, but I’m not really a fan of ordering my food and then sitting down. Each time I wanted another drink I would have to get up and order it again.
Bailey at the bar was PHENOMENAL! We are looking at houses in Lafayette to buy, and she was more than friendly and informative. The drinks were refreshing and the food was awesome!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere
Parking: Plenty of parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible
Dietary restrictions: They have beyond burgers and veggie options
Burgers are not on par with Grub in Houston or in Midland. Buns were dry and burgers lacked the juiciness I'm used to in other place. Plus it took 45 minutes to turn out the order for 4. The restaurant floor was sticky and the bathrooms were not well kept. Had that dingy college bar feel. Not what I
Portions are a bit small, but the flavors are on point. Great place to grab dinner and/or drinks with friends. A little pricey but worth it.
The burgers were pricey, but good. I've been wanting to stop by this place for some time now, and although it wasn't quite the absolute best burger I've ever had, I did enjoy it enough to say I'll gladly return.
Sadly, we will never be returning to Grub. We love the food and used to love the service. We walked in and were awkwardly rushed to sit in the bar area. I guess they're doing sections now instead of walking to the counter to order and then choose your table. Our server walked up to the table and just asked what we wanted. No greeting or anything. I said I would get a water and think about getting a shake later, but they just went ahead and put one in for me anyway. Clearly wasn't listening to me. They never came to check on us once our food arrived, just asked if we wanted our check. Plopped the check down on the bar they were standing behind, so we had to get up to grab it. THEN AND ONLY THEN were we told they no longer take cash. Good thing we had a card on us. We put our card in the server wallet and placed it back on the bar where it was again placed down by the server with the receipts to sign. So we had to get up out of our booth again to grab it and sign. But then the server started telling us the only reason they're cashless now is because of tipshare drama, which I doubt, and kept going on and on about restaurant drama and cursing. Super unprofessional. They said there's a sticker on the door that says they're cashless. When leaving, we did see the sticker only because we had just been told it was there. Very unnoticeable when entering.
Had the turkey burger, taste was fabulous! Our server was amazing. I wouldn't recommend for smaller children as their seating is high tables mostly. Portions were small but I didn't mind so much. Would be a great place for a date night or hang out with friends!
We went here based on a recommendation from our hotel. Friendly and attentive staff and a fun atmosphere. Although it is a burger place, we ended up choosing salads with chicken, and the chips and queso appetizer. All were a good size and very tasty. We would definitely come again and try a burger next time!
Overcooked burger stuffed full of grilled onions that were too sweet. Not much blue cheese. And it was delivered to the wrong location at my work so it was cold by the time I got it. I let our other 1600 employees know about this experience...
No longer will accept cash, just want card information, unacceptable regardless of food quality.

Was recommended by a few friends in the area so I finally caved in and tried it. Pretty good burger for the price. It was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. Fries were freshly cooked and had a bit of a crisp to them which I loved. Highly recommend if you’re craving a good burger.
I chose the voodoo mushroom burger, fries with jalapeño ranch. It was most excellent. Everything deliciously seasoned. Bun was slightly sweet but didn't take over the burger. I didn't specify a meat temp. Their default is pink which I love. Reasonable price, too.
We drove all the way from Plaquemine to try this place. Unfortunately it's alright. The server was very kind, but the burger just wasn't "Wow". Burger patties were bland, the "Macaroni burger" wasn't all that, nor was the "Cadillac Wagyu burger". Cheese fries were good, but that's it. The Sweet tea even was blah; my brother and I love Sweet Tea....we both weren't impressed or happy with it ☹️ . My parents got a "Hot mess chicken sandwich" and it also lacked flavor. The server asked if fries were good which implied they were included with the burger, but we were surprised when we saw they were a separate charge on our ticket. The staff is very friendly, the ceilings could use some dusting and cleaning, and I'm sadly not going to be back. ?
Food - The best burger in Lafayette. The fries are always good and fresh. The shakes are really good as well.Service - Excdllent Service. Always ready to provide quickly and concisely.Ambiance - Great Indoor and Outdoor seating options. Ordering spot is very well laid out.Notes - One of the best spots to Grab a burger if your not looking for fancy, but don't want fast food.
Old fashioned is fine. I wasn't impressed with the smoked old fashioned. They smoke the glass for a second or two before making the drink, and I'm not sure it really "smokes" the drink. It might be too subtle for me to pick up.Excellent burger!
