Nice atmosphere with nice New Orleans music. You can enjoy having a conversation without loud music and noisy clients. Food and service was excellent!!

This was out first maiden voyage into the REAL seafood scene. And we were not disappointed!!!
We started with appetizers of fried green tomatoes and crab cakes!! Classics. So yummy! The flavor was zesty and citrusy and oh so good.
Then we got the oysters!!!! We tried the sampler-
Not a fan of the fancied up ones. Just give us the simple and flavorful. The Smokey one was sooooo delish!!! I’d go back just for them.
We had the grits and asparagus but the shining star was the sweet potato creme brûlée! Oh my gosh we will be going back - if only for that alone. Haha the atmosphere was so nice and cozy. You e got cool jazz in the background and the low lighting is my cup of tea.
Our server was just what the Dr ordered and knew all our needs. So kind and so helpful and cheerful. What more do ya need.
Our experience was just perfect. We’d gladly return!

The service was good and the food was delicious . The atmosphere was terrible . There was a large group celebrating a birthday. They were so loud we could not communicate with each other . The staff never went to calm them down . I have not been back sense then .

If I could leave zero stars I would. Let me begin with I’ve visited this restaurant franchise in Baton Rouge multiple times EXCELLENT service! I called the Lafayette location to get on the wait list for a party of 18 at 11:24am. I’d spoken to Olivia in which she was very kind and helpful! She explained to me they had TWO RESERVED parties a “12 top” and “20 top”.With that being said she said I’d have to wait 1hr to be seated. At 12:03 we notified the staff that the party was there and patiently waited for our table. The GENERAL manager AMBER rudely greeted us and stated they were not preparing a table for us and that they only had separate bar top seating. She stated that they don’t do reservations only waitlist. (remember I spoke with Olivia earlier who said they had two reservation already). I calmly asked what happen regarding my party already being on the waitlist and the hour wait and also explained my concerns with bar top being that it wasn’t handicap accessible. She stated “ people come in it is what it is either you take it or leave.” I myself have been a server for 6 years and never in a million years could I imagine treating a customer so rudely. Today I graduated college and wanted to celebrate a major accomplish and thanks to AMBER the general manager my day was almost ruined. Management is HORRIBLE specifically Amber the general manager and I can’t fathom how she is in a leadership role.

Stopped for lunch while in town and was really surprised by this place. Service was great. Never had to ask for a refill on our drinks. All of our food was hot and delicious. Got the fried green tomato and crab cake appetizer, shrimp and grits, oyster Orleans, and a dessert. The manager Amber was also fantastic. She would often pass and ask how everything was and if she could get anything for us while our waitress was busy. Very attentive and caring. Everything was great! We will definitely be back!

Went for our lunch today while out in town and was very disappointed. We really wanted some good charbroiled oysters and got garbage instead. Our oysters were served to us luke warm and didn't look or taste "charbroiled" at all. The stuffing that came on top of mine was cold in the middle and the sauce that came with it on the side was cold as well. Ive never in my life been served cold cooked oysters! Absolutely disgusting. Won't be back. Years ago when I came everything was good but now its a big no for me. Disappointed amd dissatisfied after this lunch. O and let me not forget to mention our waitress was very unattentive and never came check on us after we received our food. So that made the experience suck too!
