I had the pleasure of being served & uplifted by the best bartender in town, right here at Half Shell Oyster, Ms. Krystal!!! I walked into HSO this evening with a heavy heart (lost my dad two days ago) and in no time we were laughing and sharing stories. Her friendly conversation and great shaking skills (blue berry martini) was refreshing! She's friendly, personable, and a great bartender all in one! I'll be back soon!!! Thank you Krystal & Keep Thriving! YOU HAVE MY VOTE FOR BARTENDER OF THE YEAR! P.S. Amber, you rock too!!

The food was delicious, and our waitress Francé was absolutely wonderful. We had to try the Key Lime Pie Martini and it did not disappoint- and of course the Pecan Old Fashioned is a must.

The perfect site and service met us in the parking lot. Our waitress France’ was able to educate us about everything on the menu and the food was amazing!

The food and service at Halfshell is always good! Maya was our server, and was very nice and attentive! The food was delicious and came out within 15 minutes.

I absolutely enjoyed myself this weekend here with my daughters for ours girls road trip. Nothing made it more pleasant than Francis and her pleasant way with people and knowledge of the menu. She was truly the best. Our second stopping in and finding her. We will be definitely be returning again next year is not before and to see Francis again. The Argentina shimp and New Orleans sauce was the favorite maker. Crab claw, the red on a stick. Everything was devine.

Girls Weekend with mom and sister and was serviced by Francis. She was absolutely amazing! She gave great recommendations and we tried every single option she suggested in which every one was delicious. We had the royal reds, fried crab claws, New Orleans crab claws, portobello mushrooms, seafood sampler platter with fried crawfish tails, fried oysters, chargrilled oysters, boudin ball, grilled shrimp, jalapeño hush puppies and I can’t remember it all! 😂 We also had the key lime margarita, drop of lemon martini with blueberry and pink Paloma and oh my goosh good! We hung out a while sampling every recommendation made. Francis was amazing, the food was fresh and flavorful, not to spicy, simply perfect and service overall was excellent! When I come back to Lafayette, I will definitely return.

Frances was very friendly, great customer service and very informative about the menu. She catered to everything and the food was cooked to perfection. Drinks were excellent as well . This will be my spot when I’m in town. She’s the Best !!!!

Waitress was 10/10. Staff was friendly. Food was bomb for lunch as we were headed home. I highly recommend the lunch menu. We look forward to coming back.
