Atmosphere was a little too dark. The service was terrible! The waitress didn't even come back to make sure our food was done The way we wanted. The steak was way we wanted. It was way under cooked. The manager took it off the ticket BUT to add insult to injury, she took the food back. This is the third time we haven't enjoyed the experience and it started out to be one of our favorite places to go.

I had the pleasure of being served & uplifted by the best bartender in town, right here at Half Shell Oyster, Ms. Krystal!!! I walked into HSO this evening with a heavy heart (lost my dad two days ago) and in no time we were laughing and sharing stories. Her friendly conversation and great shaking skills (blue berry martini) was refreshing! She's friendly, personable, and a great bartender all in one! I'll be back soon!!! I had the shrimp and grits there. Very amazing! The sweet potato creme brulee awesome! The staff was great

The food was delicious, and our waitress Francé was absolutely wonderful. We had to try the Key Lime Pie Martini and it did not disappoint- and of course the Pecan Old Fashioned is a must.
