Passed on the way to work service was slow and the woman working in the kitchen was rude food was old and soggy and just remicrowaved where the bathrooms where leading to the kitchens nothing but roaches and ants coming out. Update. Went back to give it another chance same woman in the front with the rudeness touching food with no gloves and no hairnet found hair in my food went back and she said it must’ve been mine . Like ma’am I have blonde hair and yours is black and the hair in my food was black

Ate breakfast at this place for the first time today. It was awesome! The eggs were fabulous, the biscuits were delicious and the grits were outstanding. Service was excellent (Damian) and the prices were good. If you're looking for breakfast check this place out. I'll be back.

I love both locations. The one in Chevron in Gloria Switch is where I normally go. Great burgers, crawfish and meat pies, gumbo, egg rolls are amazing.

This place by far has the best breakfast I've gotten in years. The homemade biscuits and gravy were creamy but so flavorful, and the grits were cooked perfectly. Wouldn't change a single thing. The service was also excellent

Wonderful establishment with great soul food. I was greeted at the door and was explained all my options today by staff. I wanted something off the daily lunch specials and chose smothered turkey necks with mashed potatoes. The portion size was massive and the sides were heavenly as their name implies. The workers even come to your table to serve and provide friendly conversation! You will leave this place smiling and full!!

We had seen the segment on Acadiana Eats and decided to give it a try this morning. The wife had eggs with ham and hash browns with a biscuit. I had the country fried steak (gravy on the side), with hash browns and a biscuit. The wife said the eggs and ham was good, the hash browns, could have been warmer. My country fried steak was ok, nothing to rave about and the eggs were cooked as ordered. We both agreed the biscuits were terrible. They were either yesterday's biscuits or from much earlier this morning and warmed up. We found them to be a bit rubbery. May go back and give it a try again, but no big rush.
