Never going back!! Our server “Fen B” as stated on my receipt ,, was so rude. They do not serve Bud Light, I asked if I could bring my own, (I’m allergic to certain beer and can only drink Bud Light) they refused. My friend wanted to order an entree that had a runny egg, she asked if they could just cook the egg and was answered RUDELY by Fen B, “all the eggs are cooked the same”, which is BS because there was another entree on the menu with a COOKED egg. My friends were trying to ask Fen B a question and she RUDELY AGAIN, pretty much told them to shut up because she couldn’t have two people talking at the same time. We asked to sample a juice used for mimosas she told us no, but yet let us sample a shot of king cake daiquiri that had alcohol, make that make sense. This is very disappointing because we have been to Hideaway a few times before and loved it but after this experience we won’t be back. Fen B,,, you probably should not be a server, you are rude and refuse to accommodate your customers,,,you should probably just be cleaning the restrooms.

never have I ever been somewhere so unprofessional. I ordered a vodka, Diet Coke, and it was so obviously whiskey. When I brought my drink back to get it fixed, The guy seemed confused, which was a normal reaction. He tells me that he needs to check and make sure it’s OK if he makes a new one. He goes up to the manager and says what happened she looks to him and in the rudest tone goes “It’s OK whatever just fix it.” She then proceeds to cover her mouth to pretend to whisper to her coworker, and in front of my face starts complaining about what just happened. She was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life, and I honestly wouldn’t expect any less from someone like that. Never will I ever come back here and I highly recommend them hire someone new.

Daylin and Emily were separated sweet and welcoming. This was our first time here. We had the flat iron steak, which was cooked to perfection, and the patty melt, hubby said it was the best burger he ever had. Great happy hour drinks, live music and great vibes.

This is one of the premier venues in Lafayette for live music, especially cajun music. Some of the top bands in town play in here for only a 10 dollar cover charge. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The servers work hard, although sometimes it's just faster to get your drinks at the bar. If you want to dance, there is usually a friendly crowd there that is willing to dance with you. If you see somebody who is dancing around, don't be shy just ask them to dance. There is a very good chance you are gonna make a new friend. This place is an amazing living cultural landmark. Check out their facebook page to know who's playing. They update that every week. Hideaway is not some fancy smancy overpriced chain, it is living culture! If you want to really experience live cajun/zydeco musical, dance culture, this place is a must!

Finally tried Hideaway on Lee and we were not disappointed. We went for apps and drinks late yesterday evening. The brussels sprouts were delicious and the deviled eggs were so different and flavorful! The old fashioned could have been better. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu options!

Several times I have been charged with wrong amount. Once I have been charged for the entire table instead of only my part, once I have been charged for full price but we ordered all our drinks during happy hours. The first time I went back and they reimbursed me but last time I didn’t have time so I just paid more than I was suppose to and I was mad to see problems happening several times. I am reluctant to give them my card to open a table.
