Jim Deggys (Lafayette) Brick Oven Pizza & Brewery

It's date night. We usually stick to tried and true. 10 years, 2 kids... gotta make the most of our time. This was a new place for us, and it's going on our tried and true list. Sydney took care of us (like Australia), and she was an absolute delight. Her drinks were a wonderful representation of the description on the menu. She was attentive and friendly and worth requesting. We both ordered pizza, as we should at a pizza place. Excellent taste and portions were more than acceptable. The atmosphere is super laid back. Family or date friendly, highly recommend!

Pizza was cold and soggy with no flavor. Salad was not fresh and it was served with packaged Italian dressing made with soybean oil and artificial colors. I don’t recommend this place.

If i could leave no stars for the service i would. I dont know how the girl with the black hair still has a job. She is always more worried about talking to friends at the bar top than tending to her guest waiting at the front door and guest waiting at the bar top for service. It took 5 minutes to get greeted and to get a menu. what type of business are you guys running and what are the standards for service because it is worse than Chilis. Do better. No wonder it is always empty when i come here.

Ran by young people it look like, I guess they all saw me sitting at bar. Literally NO ONE ASK ME were you or have someone serve you or approached. Just looking to see who will take care of that customer.

Good pizza!

The absolute BEST brick oven pizza we have ever had. We ordered the Voodoo, the Honey P with white sauce and added candied bacon 😉 (my favorite), Experiment 626, and a plain cheese. They were all great! The jalapeños are fresh and not noticeably spicy. The atmosphere is also great! We went for lunch so we didn't get a chance to try out their seasonal beers but we will certainly be back!!
