Literally not even close to mexican food made me want to throw up, food was not well cooked it was my first time going there and it was really bad the food was also expensive and nasty never going back!
Quality has gone down over the years.
When making special requests with the food, and nothing out of the ordinary either, they looked at us like we were crazy.
Not my favorite Mexican restaurant to be honest. The staff is amazing and accommodating and the restaurant very clean. It is a bit pricey compared to others in the area.

Carne asada had an awful smell, My Friend and I use to be regular customers, but after that bad experience I don't think we will be coming back
Ordered to go. Steak and shrimp fajitas were flavorless and smelt and tasted wrong (literally thrown away). Tortillas weren’t fresh and were chewy. Salsa and queso were pretty much flavorless and chips were stale.

First time eating there. Won't be there last. Much better than the average Mexican food.

Alfredo at the bar was AWESOME! However, the food was a solid 2 out of 5. The flavor of the sauce was good with the shrimp ranchero but the shrimp was over done, and the rice looked like it came out of a bag with peas in it which I thought was so odd. The entree was $20 and left much to be desired. I won’t go back because I don’t feel that the price matches the atmosphere(outdated and aged) or quality of product. Service was top notch for sure! Please fix the screaming marg machine and it desperately needs clean on the inside as my marg had a taste of metal to it! I hope this helps yall to be better and business can pick up!

Where do I begin? This was my first time coming to this restaurant so I was excited to finally try it. Upon walking in there was one other customer inside and yet it took a few minutes for me to be greeted and seated. Next… I was brought chips and salsa. I have never in my entire life had a bad salsa from a restaurant. I’ve had mediocre but this was bad! It tasted chemical and so did the chips. I got a burrito and the sauce and cheese tasted once again chemical… I almost left after the bad salsa honestly. It was that bad. Almost like someone mixed dirty dish water or a cleaning product with the food. Every time I got a whiff of the food it made me physically feel sick. I usually don’t complain or write bad reviews but this was just overall a bad experience. The girl was nice so I’ll give them that. But the food- which is why we go to restaurants- was awful.

The service was great. The food came out fairly quick and was delicious. I had the papusas, one with pork and cheese and one with bean and cheese, comes with coleslaw and ranchero sauce, it was the best thing I've had at any mexican restaurant. I swear someone's Mexican grandma is back there cooking. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience at La Pagua! I tried the Taco de lengua and a Pork pupusa, and both were absolutely incredible. The flavors were authentic and fresh—just what I was hoping for. My husband had the pork tacos, and he couldn’t stop raving about how delicious they were. We also ordered the house margaritas. The chips and salsa were a great start to the meal, really fresh and full of flavor.
What truly made the experience even better was our server. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The service was top-notch, which can sometimes be just as important as the food itself! La Pagua really delivered on all fronts, and we can’t wait to come back for another visit!

I'll start by saying that the servers did seem to be nice people. Unfortunately the food just was not good. It was lukewarm not very hot. There seemed to be cheap fillers to beef up the meal such as chopped hot dog weiners in the charro beans & average sausage included in the grilled meat fajita plate for two (it's a house special plate I forget the actual name). The meat was overdone and dry, the tortillas seemed to be reheated in old grease. The rice was bland and another plate at my table had overdone grilled veggies. It was overpriced for what it was totaling $113 + $20 tip for 4 ppl. We did include a $20 tip bc I don't believe it's a server issue, there just seems to be a lack of business leading to cut corners as we were the only ones in the restaurant. I used to hear that they were good maybe it was an off experience or perhaps they're struggling with the economy. I hope things turn around for them because the staff was nice and that's likely a reflection of the owner/management.
