La Pizzeria Lafayette

My experience was horrible. I stopped in to pick up lunch to go for myself and a family member. We both ordered the salad and a slice of pizza. I was not greeted by anyone. I walked up to the bar area where the bartender did not acknowledge me because she was too busy gossiping with another employee. The manager came over to take my order. She had a dry attitude and not friendly. I placed both orders and waited. I was not offered a water while waiting or thanked after paying for my food. When the orders were ready I asked for them to be put in a different bag with a handle. The manager honored my request. Before leaving, I stopped to check the order. I looked in the bag and only saw the salad. I asked the bartender where was the pizza slice. She rudely responded that it was all together. Then to make matters worse the dressing was put on the salad. Who puts salad dressing on a salad for a to go order? Especially, after requesting it on the side! I did that out of habit because when I dine I always request dressing in the side. Then to put the pizza slice in with the salad instead of a second container was shocking. I told the bartender that I asked for it on the side. She did not offer an apology. I was abruptly told they can remake it. I had already spent 15 minutes waiting. The restaurant is small so I already had people staring. I left with the order. When I got to the car the pizza was soggy from the salad and cold. The taste of the pizza was salty and had barely any cheese. The salad was not the salad that this location used to serve. There were no artichokes or olives as they used to include on side salads. The croutons were soggy due to the dressing. The entire order was a waste of money. Then to be treated as though I was less than by the staff was horrible and uncalled for. I felt like the food was intentionally prepared and packaged this way. No restaurants prepare and package to go orders this way. The entire experience was horrible. My family and I will never patronize this place again.

Ordered two pizzas and felt like the crust wasn’t cooked all the way - just not tasty and overly salty as well.

I wish I could rate this with no stars. Visited this location today, after hearing raving reviews from friends in the past. We walked in and stood at the empty hostess podium for several minutes while all of the employees made eye contact and never acknowledged us. We were finally confronted by a waitress in passing, who quietly told us to seat ourselves. Other customers walked in behind us and experienced the same thing. After waiting for over 10 mins, without anyone coming to our table (it was obvious that no one had been to our table yet) we decided to leave. No one seemed phased that we did. I would love to review the water, but sadly we weren’t even offered that. Others walked out behind us after experiencing the same frustrations. Would recommend wearing a high visibility choice of clothing, as it might have increased our chances of being served. We won’t be back.

First time customer and I wasn’t to intrigued. I was craving some great pizza so I ordered based on google rating & location convenience. I ordered the slice Pizza Du Monde . It didn’t seem like freshly prepared pizza, more like a box pizza someone just tossed peppers and onions on top. & I also ordered the meatballs . I got what looked like store brought breadsticks , nothing like pictured . & the meatballs were not tender. The flavor was still pretty good so not all bad. My next best advice is include silverware and napkins in all orders. I feel like that should be pretty standard , especially if I’m delivering a tip. Ambiance was nice and place was clean. Just wouldn’t be my first choice .

New favorite pizza place!!!! Me and my fiancée normally go to Central as our pizza spot but didn’t because it was closed on Sunday. So we tried La Pizzeria because of the new times on Sunday we were able to try this amazing place. I genuinely loved the service our waitress was sooo nice and welcoming. The food was really good, definitely not stingy with cheese or toppings at all. We loved the atmosphere and we were definitely satisfied with price!! Definitely will be back more!!!

Had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious. Many healthy options available and some delicious pizza for sure! Maddie, our server, was so kind and took her time to explain the menu and best seller dishes. Atmosphere was nice also. Will definitely be back.

My first time going. I ordered a slice of pizza and the Cajun Alfredo pasta. The pizza was pretty good but my toppings fell off. My pasta was too spicy and I like spicy food. I couldn't eat it. I told my waitress and she was very nice about it. She gave me an option to take it off my bill, adjust it so it wouldnt be as spicy or make me something else. I asked for regular Chicken Alfredo. A lady brought it out, maybe the manager but she didn't identify herself. I tasted the food and it was too salty. I couldn't even eat it. I let my waitress know that I couldn't eat it. She apologized and said that it depends who is cooking ans sometimes it is too salty. I asked for my check and paid the bill. I was very disappointed and will probably not go back.

When I tell You Lunch special: Shrimp pesto, house salad was delicious 😋🤤. Friends has 20 in Pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and another has Caesar salad & Pizza slice...all excellent, server excellent service, atmosphere pleasant.

Unfortunately, I would agree with Cricket. The food was very disappointing. Couldn't even chew the pita chips - what happen to crispy. Soggy crust on the pizza but overdone on top. The calzone wasn't hot and they put tomatoes on top making it more of a soggy mess. Crammed dessert into a too small container. Looking for a new place for pizza.
