Laura's Two is one of the best plate lunch spots in Southwest Louisiana. The staff is kind and efficient, and the gravy over white rice is a piece of perfection. The rice dressing "dirty rice" is crafted with love, and the sweet potatoes are done right. The food is excellent, with great Cajun flavors and giant portions. Many customers praise the fried chicken, calling it the best they've ever had, and appreciate the generous portions and seasoned dishes like red beans and rice, shrimp and grits with fried fish, and stuffed turkey wings. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with friendly wait staff who keep customers laughing. It's a local, old-school Creole cafe where everyone is on a first-name basis, and visitors often feel immediately welcomed.
