I come to longhorn about twice a month & I don’t know what has happened recently but I went in to dine & there was a gnat problem , they were flying around I couldn’t even sit comfortably. Also my ribs which is my usual order had so much fat on them !
My second trip of the month gnats were gone I asked about them when I walked in & they stated they had an exterminator come, but ribs were still full of fat . Also had to wait 20 mins for “shift change,” as there were no servers present. Shouldn’t the shift change of staff especially servers be at the same time if one gets off at 5pm the relief should be scheduled to come in at 5pm so these kind of inconveniences doesn’t happen.

The steaks were not seasoned well. The lamp by the booth was dusty! Not worth the money we spent.

We had a very large party (22) and the service was top tier. Our food came out perfect and was so delicious. They were fast and efficient. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is so friendly and very helpful. Some of the favorites everyone ordered were the Redrock Grilled Shrimp, the Cowboy pork chops, Parmesan crusted chicken and any of the steaks. Thank you so much Longhorn for providing an excellent dining experience. If you’re in Lafayette stop by to see them.

Very disappointed. Ordered to go for the first time about two months ago. It was outstanding. About a month ago I dined in with a friend. The restaurant was cold and the food got cold really fast. Yesterday, my birthday, we ordered take out. The order was 30 minutes late. While my husband waited he saw dirty dishes on the bar and several tables. All three times I ordered the bone in ribeye. When I opened the box, yesterday, it smelled bad. I took a couple of bites and it didn’t taste fresh so I threw it out. A while later I started throwing up and having diarrhea for several hours. We won’t be going back.

The single worse take out experience of my life. To start, I understand it was Valentines days and was expecting some sort of delay. Additionally, this review is from someone who spent most of his 20’s in the service industry.
Ordered my food online, as I always do, at 6:00 pm and got the email confirmation and text. The confirmation said pick up at 6:33p so I started to mosey my way over to the Ambassador location. Got there at 6:40p and parked in spot 1 and sent arrival confirmation in through the site. 20 min went by (now 7p-ish) with still no delivery so went in the building. Walking in could see a few customers near the take-out bar area. Waited there for someone to tell I was here, but no one really came by. I finally told someone I was there and the take out girl said “I haven’t seen it yet”- reminder- now 1 hour after order/ 30 min over finish time. Because of my service industry experience, I stayed calm and waited at the bar saying- maybe it’s just a bad day (boy, was I right). Continued to wait and more and more people piled in to bar area- probably 20 people all waiting on their orders. There was a few people ahead of me, I struck up a convo with. At the time of our conversation she was at the 2 hour mark. If I wouldn’t have paid online, I would have left— stuck it out because the wife wanted a steak for Valentine’s Day and periodically checked in my food. Finally the TOGO girl said my name, 2 hours after FINISH TIME. Manager wasn’t much help- handed food and she said - Here you go! Not sorry, not here is your comped food. Just an informal, here.
Needless to say, the night we were supposed to spend together was somewhat ruined as it was time for the kids to come home but went straight home to deliver the food and hopefully eat quickly. Opened the food and it was freezing cold and not cooked to order so needless to say it was a terrible experience.
This is not a review for the Togo girls, even though they did not seem to have it together, this is for the GM or Operations exec. You need to seriously look over your take-out ordering and operations on the store level.
Best of luck as I will probably not be back. Photo of the amount of people waiting for their orders. Mind blowing.

It was a terrible experience. The hostess was very rude . The food was okay the server that waited on us was amazing. The dragon fruit margarita is by far the best margarita I've ever had

My husband and I tried to have dinner here last night, and we never got waited on. The very unhappy hostess seated us, in the extremely dirty restaurant, and when I opened my menu, there were dirty fingerprints and food crumbs all over it. The restaurant was not very busy, there were maybe six tables seated that I saw, and no one ever came. We sat long enough to be able to look at the menu several different times. No one ever came to take our drink order, no one ever even smiled at us and acknowledged we were there. The kicker is we were seated right by the kitchen, so people had to see us sitting there as they were walking in and out... So I cannot rate the food because we never received any, but I can tell you that the service is very poor, and the atmosphere... Yikes. Also somebody should probably tell the servers that anyone sitting close to the kitchen can hear them cursing, and talking horribly about the guests.

Waitress was extremely rude...started off conversation saying she didn't eat anything on the menu because she had her gallbladder taken out witch was way to much information yuk...charged me for 2 sweet teaspoon after me telling her I didn't like it. Fair yo say I will never be back there again ever

I went in today at 7:22pm & was told the wait would 45 minutes and they would text me when the table was ready. At around 8:09pm I received a text saying the table was ready. When I walked up to the hostess stand, I was told that there was several items not available which was several appetizers, no mash potatoes, chicken bites, spinach dip, loaded potatoes, no chicken wraps, no 20 Oz steaks, etc. We asked why wasn't we told 45 minutes ago that there was basically out of majority of the menu items and they stated they just found out. SEVERAL customers left. There was no consideration of my time as I was trying to eat in between waiting for another engagement I needed to be at within the next hour. If a restaurant is out of food that means it's poor management and why even open for dinner if your out of food.
