This place was everything I hoped it would be. Fast, fresh food, Mama knows how to throw down for sure. 11/10 will come back every time I'm in Lafayette.

I had ordered a Sunday BBQ plate through Doordash. The rice dressing was undercooked and soggy it was nasty. The meat was overcooked and I couldn't finish eating the meal that I had ordered from Doordash. I wasted $30 for nothing. This so-called restaurant doesn't know how to cook edible food that's worth eating. I would not even recommend this restaurant to my most hated enemy. This is the reason I'm giving this restaurant a 1-star which if they had a lower rating I would give that instead.

This place had very good hospitality. It had amazing food and I would surely shall recommend this place to anybody me and my husband both had a cheeseburger and it was so thick so juicy it was just great best hamburger I’ve had in a very long time.

Ordered through Uber Eats, got the rib & oxtails plates.
Both were beyondddd bland & didn’t have any type of seasoning.
No flavor what so ever!

Okay so I was a first time visitor today looking for good ole Sunday plate … and that is not what I got the Mac and cheese was great ! Roast was seasoned to perfection! But I had way too much fat in my plate. The rice dressing had clumps of ground beef in it then the dressing was soaked in gravy. With an up charge for rice dressing that was not enjoyable at all. And then to be mad at the type of card I have because you had to do a refund. Totally embarrassing. I can’t say I’ll be back I was so uncomfortable.

Yes I did Uber with them once and order the bbq it’s straight but now I finally go there in person to get my mom the oxtail plate and it made my mom sick wow I would like all my cash back I will be inspecting to hear from y’all on here then u told me 21 something my card says 27.80 I hope we can get this clear up with no confusion thanks update just wanted to let y'all know I did get my cash back and some but just know I will never ever do biz with y'all again i heard from a few people no names kmsl that's why y'all moved wow I put that in god's hands if y'all want good food oxtails go to poches in Cecilia great service and great food thanks

Went to Lumberjack’s yesterday to pick up lunch. This is probably our fifth time getting food from here and it has always been good. We love about 45 minutes from there, but we don’t mind making the trip when the food is so good. We have had most of the sides in our multiple trips and have had many of the plate lunches offered. I especially enjoyed seafood Friday and can’t wait to go for BBQ on a weekend. The food is always good and has great seasoning. And, I always receive great customer service. Had a wonderful conversation with Lumberjack yesterday while waiting for the food to be ready as well as had a good time speaking with the two women who were also there. I will be back! THANK YOU!

These people are very unprofessional and doesn’t care about the customers. Me and my fiancé ordered a Sunday plate lunch he got fried chicken and rice and I got the bbq ribs. The chicken was old it had a foul smell to it like someone died , it was freezer burnt and when I called there the manager act like he didn’t care he gave the phone to the cook and she said the chicken was fresh and she can’t do nothing about it. I will never ever eat from her again they giving people meat that’s been there for months and trying to cover themselves up with an excuse. Please before yall buy food her make sure you smell your food. The rice dressing still had big chunks of kidney in it and rice tastes like it was sitting in the rice pot for days
