Market Eats has always been one of my favorite spots, and I usually enjoy both the food and the atmosphere. However, today’s experience was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible our server, Mary, never checked on our table or gave us any updates, and the staff seemed more interested in chit-chatting with each other than helping customers. It felt like we were being completely ignored. I genuinely hate to say it, but based on today’s visit, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I hope management addresses the service issues before it starts driving loyal customers away.

This was my first time visiting the establishment, we were greeted by an amazing waitress, she welcomed us and brought us to our table, we ordered from menu and was totally impressed and satisfied. The prices were reasonable

I was very happy with the food and the service. The room was spacious but rather industrial. The chairs were not folding but felt like it. Still, we had nine people and passed a good time. The server was fast and intuitive. A person with mobility issues could easily move in and out.
I had the spicy chicken basket for Sunday brunch. The chicken was a little overcooked the whole sandwich was tasty. I would order it again.
I also ordered the crakelings. The chicken was surprisingly tender, and the coating was flavorful. They were not traditional--little like nuggets but wellworth buying.
This is not a traditional restaurant but clearly knows its origins. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Went to market eatz in Lafayette sat at the bar and ordered the taco trio all steak and an order of onion rings to go. Bartender was nice and immediately took my order and food came out pretty fast. The tacos were amazing beside a slight charr on a small portion of the steak on one of the tacos, but the onion rings were horrible they were soggy and basically had no batter on them. My ride home was less than 8 mins so couldn’t have gotten soggy in that short of a time.

I wish I could recommend this place but...
We have been there twice for brunch in the last 3 weeks. The first time, they didn't bring my son's food out until everyone was finished. I thought maybe it was a fluke. Today, we were sat immediately. The place wasn't packed. We were seated in front of the drink machine, so all of the staff literally went around us to get drinks. After trying to get anyones attention for 15 minutes, we left. No one acknowledged us or stopped at our table. We really like the food, but that doesn't matter if you can't place an order...

I didn't check my food until I got home. This is the $17 Mediterranean wrap w/ shrimp (+ $2). The amount (lack) of food clearly doesn't compare to the price. Highly disappointed...?

Attended steak night. Overall everything was excellent. Blantons old fashion was excellent. Not alot of sweetness. Steak was cooked perfect. Seasoned well. Beautiful cut of meat. Sides were very good. I would recomend this restaurant.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We just left Market Eatz. Our part in our horrible quick experience, we walked in at 8:20 pm, mind you they close at 9. We were greeted by a friendly host who brought us to our table. We were a party of two. Before both of us could even sit down (I was still standing), a waitress was complaining about being sat. Now mind you, she is 6 feet away from us. We were the only “new” table in the entire restaurant. I looked at her and decided to leave. We were out of the restaurant by 8:25 pm. I understandable being in the service industry you have side work that needs to be done before leaving for the night. Is it ideal for a table to come 40 min before closing, maybe not? However it is not uncommon. As a local restaurant you rely on your community to come in and enjoy the atmosphere, food, and service. I hope this said server was just having a “bad” night and that this isn’t the norm for this local restaurant.

Food was good and lovely waitress however 2.5 hour wait for our meal at brunch this Sunday was very disappointing. Incredibly slow service for our table of 11. The manager stopped by after 2 hours to apologize for the delay but didn't offer any reason why or offer to comp any of our meal. 20% gratuity included so the restaurant didn't lose anything for our poor experience.
