Living in Lafayette, LA comes with its perks... excellent food being one of them. A city that can easily make due without any of the cookie cutter restaurants; i.e. McDonald's, Taco Bell, Burger King, or similar, because we have better alternatives around every corner. Mercy Kitchen has an excellent menu, excellent staff, and probably owned and operated by someone who knows how to cater to the people of Louisiana. Stop in for a bite, you won't regret it!
This was a first for us and recommended by my brother and sister in law. I can’t say enough how much my husband and I enjoyed this place. You’re not rushed like other restaurants to order and eat and get out. It’s definitely a great date night place. You can go in order drinks, talk, order appetizers and more drinks order entrees and more drinks and just enjoy your time together. The service was impeccable!!! Definitely going back!
The atmosphere is awesome! Parking is horrible, service when there is a full house is mediocre. Lots of mistakes made in our order. Took several trips to correct food order and finally get drink order. Its hard to make reservations when the phone isn't answered. Nothing at all offered for the birthday honoree.
