Mr. Rogers catering did an excellent job for my husband and I wedding! The food was amazing and I ate everything on my plate!! The cake early to set up and cook. Everything was fresh and we got plenty of compliments on the food. I think there were some people that didn't know what kind of rub they used on the roast but it was delicious. In would definitely use them again and again! They even came to Baton Rouge to do the event. Mrs. Rogers was very nice and made sure that I wasn't stressing over the food..lol. They were amazing and I appreciate everything. When we move to Lafayette they will definitely be out number one spot for catering and just to get a hot plate of home cooked food!!!

I was really disappointed when I picked up my thanksgiving dinner. I ordered the 12 people meal plan. The food that I got was barely for 4 people. The serving portions were REALLY small. The dinner rolls were also very small. I would probably say that they bought them at Walmart. (Not tasty) The food was cold when I picked it up, it wasn't even hot. And finally the turkey, it even didn't look roasted! Overall, I do not recommend this place at all! I fell really upset. (It cost a total of a $152.60)

We are using the catering service for our wedding. When we got there to do the food tasting, we felt welcomed! They gave us more than enough food to taste and it was great. My fiancé is a picky eater and he ate his plate and half of mine! Great place.

Mr Rogers Catering is an amazing caterer! They deliver meals to you that are cooked, still hot when you get them, and delicious. They really care about their customers and went above and beyond when trying to deliver a meal I ordered for a friend just back from the hospital. This is the perfect gift for someone who's sick, for the sick person in the hospital - great gift for their family. Also pregnant women and so many options! Thank you guys so much!!!

Thank you Mr. Rogers Catering!! I was extremely impressed by their service and delicious food. I needed food for a funeral and was pressed for time. No problem for Mr. Rogers! They catered delicious chicken salad sandwiches and BBQ meatballs AND DELIVERED them to me on the 4th of July Holiday weekend.. I had so many other things to do at this time and I am so happy that I thought of them! Thanks Vickie I sure appreciate your help over the 4th of July weekend. I give them 6 stars! ******

The food they serve is amazing. It truly is authentic South Louisiana home cooking!! I have not been into the location and have only had delivery. Chef and his wife, Vicki, both came to deliver my orders and you can tell they were packaged carefully and with love. You really feel like it's family coming to bring you food! When I called to place the orders, it was simple and Vicki was super nice each time explaining to me about their menu and giving me information on whatever I wanted to know about what they served. My first order back in Nov or Dec of 2015 was the chicken and sausage jambalaya from the menu manger. I really was testing the waters and...Lawdhammercy...it was so amazingly good. The amount really does feed about 4-6 people too. My second order on Jan, 14, 2016 was the chicken and sausage gumbo and the Caesar salad...it should be a crime how delicious this food was. It was hot like it was just out of the gumbo pot! Yum-my! I only have one complaint: That is the Caesar salad was a bit small. I wish there was more in the order (or instead of 1 container maybe 2?). We (2 of us) went through the salad in one sitting. I happen to really like veggies though. Now, the gumbo! We ate on that for days and I still had some leftover to give to my neighbor after my guest left. I added some of my own shrimp and crab that was already in my freezer and added a bit of water and some more roux. When I tell you my guest who is VERY (like extremely) picky about food LOVED this gumbo! I'm not kidding it was that good. I have been ordering their food and pretending like I made it myself lol! I just make sure to throw away the containers before guests come over lol! Now that I've had 2 very wonderful experiences with this restaurant I will FOR SURE continue to patron this awesome business. I 100% recommend Mr. Rogers Blue Plate to everyone who wants authentic South Louisiana food but is short on time to cook it for yourself. :-D
