An intuition. Shrimp poorboy will change your life
Always great service and amazing poboys.
Always great poboys and service.
Awesome food, awesome atmosphere, but better people! It has stood the test of time for a reason! Go check it out you won’t regret it!
Last night we went to have dinner here. We walked in a 630, and they close at 7. Usually staff is obviously ready to go, but the staff was going!!! The guy running the place was calling orders, and making sure it was running smooth. He wasn’t just barking orders, but was helping carry orders. A lot of supervisors don’t do that!! The team work of the staff was amazing!! We had the old tyme special and a shrimp poboy!!! Next time I will be getting the old tyme special!! Had a bite of my husbands and it was amazing!! The shrimp was great too!!! Actually finished it cold this morning and it was still great!! Can’t wait to come back from Natchitoches for another great poboy
Huge shoutout to Olde Tyme for making a poboy platter for me in record time! I placed the order and had it at the venue within 30mins😳 I’ve been a fan of theirs since I was a kid but this was amazing service. Y’all helped me out big time! Thanks!! AND the food is super good☺️
This is a must-visit spot every time we're in Lafayette. I hear rumors of it opening a second location in Texas and would lovvvvvve for that to happen. Pick Houston please!

Let me start by saying that sandwiches and po-boys are not my favorite type of food. It comes highly reccomended but I don't believe it fulfilled the hype although I did enjoy every po-boy that we had. Firecracker Shrimp, Burger, Sausage, Roast Beef, Pastrami, and Turkey. Each had its on spank to it. I can't say that I would go back because I wanted a Catfish Po Boy and they only do those on Fridays. I would however recommend it.

Poboys were great! I ordered the soft shell crab but apparently it’s an acquired taste! So I reordered the shrimp poboy which didn’t disappoint! The only reason I’m giving a 4 star is because many of my fries were undercooked.
Kid-friendliness: Cute shop and has other snacks for kids.

Should probably update your hours, drove 4 hours to be here only to be told you now close 2 hours earlier than the website says.
Been going to this establishment for 30+ years before I was a student at UL formerly USL. Sent my daughter to pick up 4 shrimp poboys yesterday. When I received them there may have been 6 small shrimp on each side of the sandwich. I was totally disappointed for the first time ever. I just figured they were having a bad night. I was truly disappointed as I live 2 hours away and couldn't bring them back. I still love this place though.
