On 3/7/26 while dining at Outback in Lafayette my order came to me very under cooked. In my opinion my waitress was not attentive and catered to the table next to us as it appeared she knew them. The manager immediately came to my table saying oh no that’s not how we do things we won’t fix another steak I’ll put it back on the grill. I chose to patronize this establishment however, we won’t be returning!!

Went there last night and upon being seated we could smell a musty, rancid smell. We assumed it was coming from a mop bucket, however when they brought our food I cut into my ribeye steak ate a bite and the second bite tasted off, so I cut into the center and it was horribly rotten I threw my guts up, and the other 3 people with me could not eat their food after smelling the rancid steak! The waitress was wonderful and apologized, she said someone else had complained earlier. the manager took my steak off the ticket but not the 3 others at the table who were so grossed out that they could not eat their own food, including a filet! The entire ticket should have been waved, since no one could eat after they served a rancid, spoiled steak!
Can’t see myself ever going back!
Update***** I received a call from Mr. Harold with Outback Steakhouse, and he was extremely friendly and sought to make the situation right! I explained to him what happened and that my frustration was with how the manager handled the situation and after hearing how the situation unfolded, he agreed the manager did not handle it properly! Harold insisted on sending me some coupons to offset the wasted money I spent that night, in spite of me telling him it wasn’t necessary!
It was a very frustrating and quite frankly Gross experience Saturday night….. but Mr Harold went out of his way and made it right! For that I wanted to say thanks! It’s greatly appreciated!

There was a roudy crowd on my last visit. I usually don't get distracted by others but it was an empty restaurant on my visit and we were seated next to them. Food and service was excellent.

The baked potato was perfect. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo was ok. The chicken was seasoned well. But the shrimp and the noodles was bland. It's messing something. I barely ate the noodles.
