My wife ordered our daughter’s baptism cake from Pieces of Cake. She said they were very easy to communicate with and the cake came out exactly how described. Not only did it look good but we had a lot of compliments on how great it tasted as well!

This may be a bit of a different kind of review, but I'm actually here from a review this business left on Snowflake window stickers on Temu. I saw the bakerys door and it looked so cute! I'm a baker from Missouri and LOVE seeing others creations, I came here and was NOT disappointed! You all make such lovely, delicate, intricately detailed cakes, I am in awe! And then, upon reading your responses to not only the good reviews, but the bad ones from people that didn't even bother to let you KNOW and jumped straight to Google to try and leave a bad taste (no pun intended lol) in others mouths about your business, you handled yourself with such intelligence, class and elegance, I'm awestruck by your lovely character! Keep doing what you do, you are absolutely killing it! I will most definitely be stopping in when I make my drive to Florida next winter! ?

The cake itself was absolutely delicious tasting but the design that I asked for I did not get. I felt like I was pretty thorough telling them what I wanted the cake to look like and $150 I was left feeling like they didn't deliver. The flowers were not the color I asked for. The design was nothing like I had requested and the topping I wanted it to be done with icing and instead they printed it on a piece of edible paper and slapped it on the cake. I think Walmart could have made this cake. Next time I will try another cake artist in town.

My grandparents bought a cake ($125) for my grandpa's 82nd birthday, and although it was beautiful, it was so stale and dry despite being completely saturated in raspberry filling. He's crushed! I would not recommend!

We used piece of cake for our wedding cakes, and they made our cakes look EXACTLY like how we wanted them. Bonus, they tasted DELICIOUS!!! Such sweet people who make such beautiful cakes! Everyone at the wedding loved them!
Piece of Cake is so incredible to work with. They are easily the most affordable but the best tasting cake you’ll get in Lafayette. I showed them one picture of each cake and they executed perfectly! 10/10 highly recommend!

They are making the grooms cake for my son, and it is a tall order! Can't wait to see it.Update: They did a good job on the grooms cake, some hit, some miss, but my son loved it. Who ever made the duck, made that cake worth it! The taste, texture, and filling of the Red Velvet cake were awesome also. I would have liked the base the cake sat on to have been better, it throw the cake presentation off, and because the covered piece was so large, I couldn't sit it on the tree trunk. I ended up just using the tree trunk on the side to put the knife set on!The first picture is the actual cake delivered. The second picture is what I wanted, minus the hat and flowers.Total cost: 500.00 plus delivery

So glad we chose piece of cake for our wedding cake! Morgan and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful when planning and deciding how much cake we needed for the amount of people at the wedding. I wanted something very simple but elegant and they went above and beyond. Our cake turned out beautifully and tasted amazing!! I am still getting compliments on the cake!!
