Absolute classic in Lafayette. Family owned for 30+ years. Traditional.

This is hands down our favorite restaurant. I make it a point to order something different every visit, and they never miss. This time I went with the napa cabbage stir fry by recommendation of the waitress, and it was outstanding.

We had a wonderful meal at Pimon Thai! We started with the egg rolls as an appetizer, and they were perfectly crispy and full of flavor. They came out hot and fresh, and it was a great way to kick off the meal.

My husband ordered the Yum Woon Sen, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish had such a great balance of tangy, savory, and slightly sweet flavors, with plenty of fresh ingredients that made every bite exciting. He couldn’t stop talking about how much he enjoyed it!

I had the yellow curry, and it was everything I hoped for—rich, creamy, and full of warm, comforting spices. The sauce was so flavorful, and it paired perfectly with the rice. The portion sizes were generous, and I was happily full by the end of the meal.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience with flavorful, well-prepared dishes. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back and trying even more from their menu!

First time tried, would not want to go there again. I ordered Thai hot with extra veggies. Food came with few pepper flakes and doesn’t look has much extra veggies. I asked if they cooked with Thai hot and extra veggies, she said yes. Food wasn’t spicy enough and noticed they charged $4.25 for extra veggies that I can barely notice. My husband ordered fried rice, it has the color but no flavor. Most restaurants I tried in Lafayette, I keep wondering if there are any decent restaurants worth to go to. Another disappointed experience.

Food was wonderful, host and waitress were friendly and kind. Had a slight issue with credit card machine but can't fault them for that.

It had been many years since I have dined here. We dined early and were the only ones in there at first. Server was prompt, but she was the only server, so once business picked up she was a little slower getting to us but still good overall. The food was very good. I had the Pad tai and one of the lemongrass soups. I think the Tom Kam or something. My friend had a curry and it was good. If you want Tai food, check it out.

My aunt wanted to go here for her birthday because supposedly she’s he portions are bigger. My go to Thai food is Bangkok but decided to give this place a chance again. Never again. Food took awhile and didn’t taste fresh. Worst part of the experience was the SLOWEST SERVICE WE HAVE EVER RECEIVED. It wasn’t busy at all.. seems like there’s only one server which is ridiculous considering we are a party of 10 people. We ask for the check and it took forever to get to us. We waited longer to pay.. mind you that we were being patient but it just got to the point where we had to get up to go pay at the host stand since we saw someone there… HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Better your service, but food was alright. Not worth the price for the quality though. Bangkok for the win
