Amazing. I'm from Houston and places like this are everywhere. Glad they brought one to Lafayette!

Okay, I don't know if the owners of this place know but you DO NOT use bowls to mix the ingredients into a big ball of mush and put it on top the rice. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE A POKÉ BOWL. Poké is essentially a sushi bowl. I have been to the east coast, west coast and neither do that bowl mixing technique. It's disgusting and not how you make traditional poke which is what 100% of the customers come for but about 50% don't even realize that it's being made improperly. The sauce is heavy handed at the very least which is equally gross and they can't even keep avocado fresh. It's literally black when you see it. No sign of lime juice anywhere to keep its integrity. I suggest this place close for about a month to learn how to make poke properly, OR, sell it to a Hawaiian owner who will take the process seriously because you can't tell me the current owners of both spots know what they are doing.

Super fresh ingredients, tons of quality options and variety, and great friendly service! First time at this location, and will definitley be my new go to. Had the "2 to tango" bowl with greens and coconut rice base.. amazing. They also low key make some of the best Boba milk tea smoothies around. A must on a hot day (almost all days right now). Highly recommend!

OK poke, not the freshest ingredients as you'll find freezer burn on their product in places. Their house sauce is trying to add Cajun side to a pacific rim dish. Still looking for some good poke in the South.

I've been a few times. Recently I had a bowl and idk if it just depends on who makes it but it was dry. And I got the siracha aioli sauce. There was way too much rice in my bowl which is probably why it made it so dry. The ratio was off. I've definitely had better. If I'm paying what you're charging I expect to have a satisfying meal. I've been to both locations. Usually Johnston is the better of the two. I feel I would've been happier going pick up a sushi roll from one of the local sushi spots.

My third time going to Poke Geaux and still not disappointed. Sushi grade ingredients are consistently fresh, even at later hours. Making your own bowl is my favorite way to go. There are enough ingredients available to allow variety. Service is surprisingly fast and have I never had to wait. Walking in, placing order, paying and leaving has never taken more than 15 minutes. Most of that time is deciding what to put in my bowl. Ambience is practically nonexistent however I'm not going there for a fine dining experience. It is essential a takeout place and as such I highly recommend.

Awkward and Disappointing service, Hire people that at the minimum don't look miserable serving customers. The Ambassador location is better.

Haven't been to this place in like 4 years. I decide to stop by today. I was honestly shocked at how much I paid for a poke bowel with 3 protein $16.97. I remembered it was around close to $ 10 back a few years ago. Since when did the price got jacked up so much. Horrible presentation and small amount of fish. Not coming back here again.. This location doesn't seem to be joyable as the one on Ambassador.

Dirty, rude service, fish portions way too small for the price. I used to love it in the past, sad to see it go downhill.

4 stars for service and options. However the bowl we purchased from the specials menu definitely lacked flavor and was dry. I would add different sauces next time. It was the Poke GEAUX Classic. (first option on the menu all the way to the left when you walked in) Salmon. Again, fish was good and fresh, but the bowl was very dry, even with the sauce that came with the bowl. It was the poke GEAUX classic sauce.

Soooo fresh. Such a great treat for lunch break. I always feel reenergized after the Poke Geaux Classic. I add extra ginger.

Used to be great, but management changed or something. Not sure why, but they started giving you way less protein for every bowl.Used to be you would get 12 or more pieces. I just went in there and they maybe gave me 2 oz of fish for a 2 protein bowl. That's like... 4-6 pieces of tuna and salmon. There was also an incident in which one of the servers dropped edamame onto the counter and then picked it up and put it into my bowl. He also put his gloves on before making it, but then went to the back to ask the manager something, touching the plastic curtain separator that was gray with dirt with his gloved hands, and then proceeded to make my food with those gloves. As I said, it used to be great. I guess the owner or management was trying to find a way to make the business more profitable.Try the one on ambassador instead.

Really sad to see that the portion sizes have been literally cut in half at the Johnston street location. As a frequent customer unfortunately I will not visit this location again.
