This is one of my favorite spots in Lafayette. The grilled shrimp po boy, red bean falafel po boy, and Nashville chicken were all delicious.

Everything was amazing.
Helpful employees answered all my questions.
$38 for two 6" poboys with meat only on half is NOT a good deal!
The hot hot will always be my favorite

An interesting selection of options but w mediocre players execution. The fried oysters were pretty bland & the debris/gravy was not good at all. Everything was priced well though & the drinks were pretty good.

I swear to god this is my completely honest review
I ordered this to go
Shrimp poboy the shrimp tasted like they were from a week ago like the rotten
I also ordered a hot chicken sandwich I believe they call it the hot hot or some
The chicken was so oily and so hot that I couldn't eat it
Also I ordered oyster poboy
The oysters tasted they were fried from last week I swear I through up after eating a bite
I also bought a bottle of green hot sauce from theire shelf it was expired
I tasted it it tasted so bad I throw it away
My total was over $40
I dont care about the bad experience but my only regret was I lost $40 on something I didnt eat because it was not to be consumed by a human

Great and fast service! We got an undressed roast beef po boy. Easily one of the best po boys I’ve had. It was nice and juicy with great flavor!

A total rip off! Placed an order for half poboy. Was asked if I wanted both the cheeses on it.. never was told it was 2$ extra! When questioned about it, I was told yes it’s 2$ extra.. but why not ask me if I wanted to pay the extra when it’s written on the board u can get both cheese if u like! Poboy so small, can actually fit in the palm of my hand.. 40$ for 2 half poboy, 1 fry and a drink!! Yall dont spend your money!! A real rip off!! Smh.
Pop’s Poboys was a great dining experience. The combination of fried pickles and a 6 inch Poboy was delicious, and everything was made with much care. The service there was excellent as all the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this to everyone looking to eat some good grub at a chill spot.

It’s cozy, staff are fantastic, and the poboy looked great. But it only looked great. The fried pickles were fried with a sprinkle of flour, and served with buttermilk ranch. They need to put some buttermilk on those pickles before they put flour on them.
As for the poboy, the breading was fantastic, but the shrimp wasn’t. It stole all the flour that was supposed to go on the pickles, but the shrimp still had the veins in them, and had less spices than a Popeyes. This place is perfect for tourists. Not for me.
I’d like to reiterate, the staff were incredible, patient, and kind. I just wish the food was better so I could have a reason to go again.
