I have King Cakes from Pouparts shipped every year to Seattle. My friends wait for them every year. Placed usual order and it was overnight shipping as usual. Unfortunately a classic king cake was shipped instead of mardi gras king cake. Sent message to Pouparts stating that I was a little disappointed but I would be placing another order or two before the end of the season. Within an hour I received a notice from UPS stating another order was being shipped out. Thanks Pouparts for the immediate response. I will still be placing another order before King Cake season ends

This place is borderline spiritual. Every other bakery that ever has or ever will be located in Lafayette is severely disappointing when compared to Poupart's
Thus had happened twice and that’s why I’m writing this review. I went there to buy some bread yesterday and there was hardly anyone. I grab the bread and was in line waiting for someone to check me out. Then all of a sudden, there’s a lot of customers rush in the buy their needs. All of the worker ran to help them including the cashier was checking a customer before me. I just stood there and smile, waiting for someone to come check me out. I stood there 15min and no one ask, or nothing. They helped other customers that came in after me and just gave me the eyes and ignored like I don’t exist. Until I speak up, then they were stunned! I asked, can someone please check me out?? They all looked at each other , then one girl say I can check you out. Will not go back to again! Very disappointed that they pick and choose who to help! They have like 10 people working in the front and not one can check me out and I brought over $20 worth of bread and a paying customer like any one else!

Staff was wonderful. It took me awhile due to figuring out all that I was ordering and they periodically checked in to see how its going, if im ready. I didnt get her name, and didnt check for a name tag, but The girl who ended up helping me was very nice, very cool. She complimented me on my shirt and we had a short conversation about music. It was my second time going, first time ever getting anything since I am not from Louisiana, but will deff be back!

I purchased two chocolate eclairs yesterday. These eclairs were 1/2 THE SIZE they used to be. Both of them were NO BIGGER than my middle finger and had very little chocolate filling!! And the price was MORE EXPENSIVE than in the past.!! I have been buying from Poupart’s since I was a child living in Bendel Gardens, and I am more than 1/2 a Century years old!!! The Crème Brulee’ was tasty and had its crunchy topping, great as always!! Come on!!! Stop cheating with the one dessert you produce that is unique!!! Literally the eclair was the size of my finger and I am only 5’ tall, a petite woman!! The eclair was priced at more than $2.50

I stopped in to get some treats for a celebration and everyone was so kind and helpful. The pastries they recommended were amazing. The Paris-Brest was absolutely fabulous. We’ve been enjoying the French butter and their cheese dip. I’m looking forward to going back very soon.
