Prejean's Restaurant Carencro

Our group had a great time! All of our food was excellent and our waiter was Great! We had not been in years since have moved out of state, and we were not disappointed!! The band was really good too. They played Beetles to Cajun French music. What a treat!!

We ordered the shrimp flatbread with chili drizzle. It was soaked in that drizzle. The bottom crust was soggy. The sauce was so overpowering that you couldn't taste the rest of it. We were hungry and didn't want to wait on more food so we ate it. My daughter had the crawfish nachos that she had to add salt and pepper to.

The waiter accommodated our request and closed the doors so that we could talk instead of only hear the live music. Perfect.

Service was great, and food was excellent! Every time we go we never leave disappointed. This time we went for Sunday Brunch where we did eat off those menu items. I had the Bayou Waffle and was delicious and shared an appetizer of the Chicken Crack Crack. The zydeco music was a nice addition to the brunch vibe too and would go again.

Great food. Great service. If you are local or traveling through Lafayette, LA and want to experience authentic Cajun food, go to Prejean's!

Table sitting that night was in an enclosed porch was not up the par with the rest of the restaurant, it looks like it's an after thought to get more room for sitting , no atmosphere , and no music . the wall between that room and the bar should be open up to expose more of the restaurant setting, and the music can be hear. It's to isolated in that area, if I have to sitting in that area again , I will leave !

Great food every time I have been. Always fast out and fresh.

OMG, the Catfish Atchafalaya is the best I have ever had. The side dish, corn bisque I didn't care for. Next time I will substitute. My friend had the fried shrimp and fried oysters and they were awesome too. Wish there was a Prejeans in Shreveport.

My husband and I went to Prejeans for date night . Our waiter Nate was Awesome he greeted us in a timely manner he was friendly and checked on us . Our food came out quick and hot and OMG it was delicious. My husband had Chicken Alfredo and I had the Pasta Magnolia which was soooo good . I always love to leave a review when I have a Wonderful Experience. I give this restaurant 10 Stars . We didn’t have to wait long for anything.

We beat the crowd and the band, the atmosphere was a nice cajun theme with gators, cypress wood, and cypress trees.
The food was amazing, I started my meal off with a half dozen char grilled oysters which were delicious, a little more pricy than average. I eggplant pirogue that was fabulous, no imitation crab meat there and the shrimp were cooked just right.
My grandson decided on gator bites as his meal so I had to try a few, you know to make sure they were safe for him to eat ?
For drinks we were recommend the blueberry lemon drop martini, I thought it was pretty good but I'm not a lemon deop martini drinker so don't try to follow my guidance on that one.

I went eat there when y’all were first opened . I ate the crawfish Etouffee was delicious. I went today and ordered it again . It was just ok it definitely was not the same recipe as before . It took three steps backwards on this recipe . The rice was pitiful. For $ 27.00 you think a long grain rice should be the choice of rice . I hardly got many crawfish that was disappointing . I ate only half since there was no more crawfish . Service was a 10 and I tipped her well regardless of the food being disappointing. It is my birthday and I treated myself out and chose you .
