Used to love this place. But lately everytime I have placed an order via Doordash, the food has been bad!
I even called the restaurant, made them aware of the past bad experience and requested that this time they just make sure everything was okay! Well didn't happen !
Five stars without hesitation.

We had high hopes for dinner at Romacelli, but unfortunately the service and experience left a lot to be desired. The hostess seated us right away, but that’s where the good service ended. We waited about 10 minutes before our waiter, Daylan, even acknowledged our table, and when he did, he only brought water. We weren’t given drink menus, and there were no kids’ menus available. Once we finally ordered drinks, it took nearly 20 minutes for the first round to arrive. We also ordered appetizers, which took about 45 minutes to reach our table. During that time, our waiter barely came back to check on us. When he finally did, we ordered additional drinks and the kids’ meals, but again had to wait a long time. To their credit, the appetizers were hot and tasted great, but the rest of the meal was disappointing. After waiting an excessive amount of time, we had to ask about our food. The waiter told us everything was waiting on the lasagna, so we asked for the other dishes to be brought out first. The pizza came cold, and the lasagna (when it finally arrived) had an odd taste and wasn’t very good. Drinks we ordered later never came, though thankfully we were not charged for them. It also took far too long to get our checks. A manager never once came by our table—or any others that we noticed—which makes me question if anyone is actually overseeing the dining room. Overall, this was a very poor dining experience. The appetizers were the only bright spot, but between the long waits, cold food, missing drinks, and lack of management presence, we left unimpressed and won’t be in a hurry to return.
Great food, service and ambience!

We recently went and it was not real busy. Our waiter Kentrell was amazing. It did take a long time for the bartender to get our drinks together. One wine and a margarita on the rocks (it was horrible). The food took a long time as well. My meal was Lukewarm, and my husband's pizza was literally burnt on the bottom and the top not completely cooked. You could smell the scorch. I even took a picture because I could hardly believe it. Our sweet waiter kept apologizing for everything. We were quite disappointed.

I had originally rated 5 stars but it's gone way way downhill. The only good thing was our waitress (who was getting run ragged). We got to there for a reservation at 6:20, it took Almost an hour to get appetizers (and at the time they weren't busy). It took until almost 8:30 to get food. And we boxed most of it up to go. The manager blamed it on being short staffed (but when we got there there was only a handful of tables,). What little we are had been sitting under the heat lamp way way too long waiting on the pizza to come out. And when the pizza came out it was burnt on the crust and under cooked in the center.
This place use to be amazing. Something has happened to the kitchen and leadership. It was not worth a nearly 3 hour process.

My family and I ate dinner here not too long ago. We were immediately sat inside by a host, but once at the table we waited over 25 minutes before a young lady came to us with water and apologized for our wait. I don’t think the AC is out, I think there is no ventilation for the pizza oven. They definitely need to figure something out for it.
My family and I are of Hispanic and Italian descent. We immediately felt unwelcome by other guest looking at us. At first I thought it was maybe because we had a 2 year old in a primarily adult atmosphere restaurant on a Friday night. But our son was an angel that night, and didn’t scream or act out. At one point, I made a goofy looking face at a lady who would not stop staring at us that was sitting at the bar. Goofy enough for her to never look back over us.
Honestly, the food was probably the best part of the night. My husband had a phenomenal pasta. My son and I split a pizza.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this restaurant. Seriously Romacelli, at 6:45 on a Saturday, you “cannot accommodate” a table of 7 for the entire evening… when there are numerous open tables both inside and outside that are open?? Ridiculous and if your restaurant and staff is that INCOMPETENT then you should close.
Cold food and service was slow and we were the only guests. Under cooked chips. The location looks nice and the people were nice.
