Our first experience here. The food was divine. We got a new to us appetizer- Papdi Chaat- the variety of spice and flavors was a delicious change from the ordinary. Thank you for a great meal.
Glad to see an Indian buffet option in Lafayette. All the food on the buffet was fresh and flavorful. Butter chicken is one of my favorite dishes so was glad to see that on the buffet. Staff was nice, friendly and welcoming. Will be returning.
My business partner and I eat at Royal Curry every Thursday. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Our favorite dishes are Rogan Josh and Vindaloo with goat. As we walk in we are greeted by Mimi, she takes our order and makes sure we are taken good care of. During our meal the chef always comes to our table to make sure we are pleased with our meal. The food and service is always excellent.
The food was absolutely delicious and the services was amazing. The environment is inviting and the staff was very helpful with and questions if needed.
Great food. Great service. I recommend the Butter Chicken for first time customers, I also recommend the Royal Chicken Curry. Definitely get an order of Garlic Naan bread. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to try more!
I love indian food and i have been to many Indian restaurants in different states , this one was the worst restaurant experience in my life ,the food was definitely not fresh , it was heared in the microwave the plate was so hot , it tasted old dry rice and meat is indescribable , the waitress was so rude in a strange way , we wanted to order appetizers first and she said no order drink first , The chicken lolipop was so old and dry and it has the ( two days old cooked chicken) taste . We paid almost 150$ Totally not even worth third of the price .
I ordered Butter chicken to-go and I have to say it was way overpriced and the chicken was dry as dirt. For $20 after tax, it wasn’t worth half the price. I don’t plane on returning after this go around, past experiences were similar, but I wanted to try this place again.
My parents from out of state met us for dinner at Royal Curry. Special thanks to the owners & friendly staff for taking care of us. The food was delicious & my parents really enjoyed the fish. Will definitely be going back soon to try other entrees on their menu.
I came in today 5 minutes before close completely unintentional. I had never been and so I didn’t even know they were about to close. I was just passing by and thought Hmm that looks good. Im glad I did. Once I realized they were about to close, I apologized and offered to get my food to go but they insisted I stay and eat. They were so kind and promptly refilled my drink when needed. I didn’t need to ask for anything. I had the royal fish curry and it was divine. They also didn’t have the desert I asked for so he brought me a different kind, and didn’t charge me for it. I will definitely be back and thank you so much for the experience.
Very nice ? you did great with all the flavors- authentic on part of the menu and fusion also... enjoyed both spicy and mild flavors for the kids... outstanding! Comfortable!

The most flavorful food I've probably ever tasted. The staff were generous, patient, and helpful when needed. Mmmm. The portions were large, so I honestly could've just stopped with an appetizer, but goodness gracious. That Chicken Curry by itself and with Garlic Naan bread and rice?...that Pepper Fry with Goat (had bones, but my lordt the flavor was scrumptious), the Schezwann Noodles. Definitely going again and again.
My husband and I went there Saturday for the first time! So much flavor in every single dish! We will absolutely be back to try everything on the menu. The staff was really nice as well! Sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong, Thank you Sheebu! I had Fish Fry and sheezwa Noodles, medium spicy. So good and and my husband will be posting reviews separately. This my favorite restaurant now.
I got the Gobi Manchurian and i have to say it was nothing short of amazing. Very friendly service very nice people and i will be back to order more! If you are vegetarian and looking for a good option this is the way to go!
Delicious Indian cuisine! First time ever eating here and would recommend it to anyone! Got the Chicken Fried rice and am for sure getting it again!
My husband and I went in there two minutes before it was closing (didn’t realize it) yesterday, and they sat us down and assured us that we were welcome the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great!! There were a lot of great vegetarian options. The menu is beautiful and the naan was better than any I have had in a long time. It’s a gem :)
