I've been to ruffinos about 50 times now and I've never had a bad experience! The food is outstanding and the service is incredible. I highly recommend eating here whenever you have a chance.
Always consistent quality food and beverages. Excellent service & friendly staff! Great atmosphere!
Gino took great care of us and the food was amazing. Loved the salad special...arugula with pecan crusted goat cheese and cranberry vinaigrette...YUM
Out of 5 Ruffino's is close. We came on a rainy Friday evening to celebrate my bride's birthday. A couple of minor service or communication glitches among the team kept from a 5. We were seated immediately at a table with a nice view of the river. Thank you. A team of three generally kept on top of things our beverage server Hayden was on top of things and very engaging - full marks there. The other two were not quite to that level had to ask for a few needs. The food however; was excellent overall: roast oysters with crabmeat, corn and crab bisque, crispy calamari with citrus aoli were great starts. After superb cocktails suggested by Hayden. Entree's cedar plank salmon, stuffed red fish, Ruffino's bordelaise were all enjoyed by all. They finished off with Pot O'Creme, Turtle Cheesecake and a birthday slice of Olive oil cake for my bride. Well done Ruffino's team for a lovely celebration.
Great food and service. We went for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised with desert.
The experience is always great. Food, Service, and the overall experience is worth the visit. One of the top 3 places to eat in Lafayette hands down.
Service was fabulous upon arrival, after being seated, through ordering and serving of the meal but waned terribly towards the end of the meal. For a fine dining experience such as this, I found that a little disturbing. But everything else was top notch. This was a first visit. Will try again.
Great place to dine. Service was great. This was our first time there; I'll definitely go back.
We went to Ruffino's for Sunday Brunch. The location is good, leaning towards elegant. The service is impeccable. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. We both ordered Eggs Benedict with potatoes. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time but the eggs were cold. The Holladaise sauce was sparse and cold as well. The potatoes were plenty warm but they were big chunks. The meals were not displayed very nicely. Very disappointing.
We always enjoy a nice brunch when we are visiting another city. We were looking forward to Sunday Bruch in Layette. Eggs Benedict is always a favorite. The ambiance and the service were top notch at Ruffino's, but that was the end of a positive experience. The eggs were hardly warm when served to us while the potatoes were very hot. the eggs must have been cooked a while earlier and sat. There was also very, very little hollandaise on the Bennies. At the end of our brunch we were surprised and delighted to be presented a beautiful blue spun cotton candy! A sweet end to a disappointing brunch. I brought the Canadian bacon home and will make my husband Eggs Benedict the way they should be made - hot with sufficient hollandaise. I will make Crab Benedict for myself in the morning.Other food may be good, but do not go to Ruffinos for Eggs Benedict.

Everything was good except for the time it took to get our meal after our salads. It was an extremely long wait for the particular food we had ordered. Waitress had told us the manager would be out about the long wait but we never saw him. We did have great seats though in the solarium. That was a plus!
Food is great! You shouldn’t be seated and have to wait 20-30 mins to place an order I don’t care how busy a restaurant is. If that’s the case then you should tell me it’ll be 30 mins before I’m seated versus me sitting at a table looking crazy without placing an order for so long. Know your server’s capabilities. You should know if they’re able to juggle 3-4 tables at time because obviously they cannot!

This place was amazing. It is a little pricey, but from the moment you sit to the moment you leave this place is amazing and worth the extra coins.

Very Enjoyable from start to finish - good drinks, appetizers, food was great, service was top notch - makes it one of our favorite places to visit - especially with friends and family
Service was nice but the food was very mediocre and the oysters where very salty and also the drink where way to over priced like ridiculous
