We went for our Anniversary on March 20th 2024. It was out first time. We both enjoyed everything. It was very romantic. Jessie was our waitress who made us feel right at home. Even brought us some chocolate cheese cake for out anniversary. It was good. I would def recommend and go back..

The meal was delicious. They had an army of servers, but they stayed in the background. Delightful

The Sazerac Sour blew me away, probably my favorite cocktail in Lafayette. Service was quick without being rushed, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complementary cotton candy at the end of our night!

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and everything from the food to the service was exceptional! We are definitely going back and I would recommend this restaurant to all of my family and friends. I also love how the tables are not on top of each other.

The atmosphere is great for a romantic date especially if you choose seating in the solarium. We went on a busy Friday night to celebrate our 6 year anniversary and the service was spotty but that is expected. Our cocktail was delicious although our waiter spilt on our table but we were not very impressed with our food for it being a “fine dining” establishment. All of the dishes were presented beautifully but most of the dishes lacked flavor. We do not recommend the char-broiled oysters unless you are into chewy overcooked quarter sized oysters covered in cheese. The price shown is also for 6 not 12 so when the waitress ask if you’d like a half dozen or dozen, a dozen of overcooked oysters is $28, although we don’t mind the price it was just not good. We also tried the braised pork cheeks which we did enjoy and the highlight of our night. We thought the crabmeat cheesecake lacked flavor for how beautiful it looked as well as the duck fingers we tried. Our pizza was good but not anything impressive. The complimentary cotton candy and the complimentary dessert for our celebration was a nice touch but we will not be back as there are other local fine dining establishments around us with better tasting food for the same price.

Our experience at Ruffino’s started off pretty poorly and got worse from there. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday, and our party of 12 had reservations made weeks in advance. When we arrived, we were made to wait 15-20 minutes at the door despite our reservations. Our drink server, Kennedee, was the highlight of the night, and she was very attentive. Our food server - Steve, I think - was another story. He introduced himself and the specials, and then disappeared. Vaporized into thin air. I had finished my second cocktail before Steve ever came around again to take our appetizer orders, and that was only because I asked our drink server to grab him. When he finally came around and took orders, he skipped over several people at the table, myself included, for no apparent reason. I again had to go out of my way to get his attention and finally get my food order in.The food, which I read good things about, was seriously underwhelming when it did arrive after an hour and a half. I split the oysters as an appetizer, and we were disappointed. My friend got the tuna, which is supposed to arrive on a salt block. They were out of the salt blocks, though, but only informed us after my friend inquired when the dish came out on a plate. One of the people at my table had a fingernail in his water.I ordered the chicken parm for my entree, and it tasted like it hadn’t been seasoned or salted at all.The birthday girl eventually asked to speak with a manager and recounted the night to him because obviously Steve was wholly unconcerned. Unbelievably, the manager told her he “found it hard to believe” a fingernail was found in my friend’s water, and he did little to rectify the overall dining experience. The audacity of the manager to discredit her concerns was remarkable, especially considering the self-proclaimed quality of the restaurant.Listen - nearly all 12 people at our table currently or have previously worked in the restaurant business, from serving to managing to bartending. We know what’s involved, and we understand things can go wrong. But the complete lack of communication on part of our server, the self-justified manager, and the lackluster food - Ruffino’s was extraordinary, and not in a good way.

Upscale and amazing, the service is impeccable, surpassed only by the food! I suggest going with one of the off menu chef specials which has never disappointed me. One of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette. I suggest the crabmeat cheesecake (it isn't cheesecake) to start or the pulled mozzarella appetizers. The pork cheek is equally stunning. Their steaks are absolute to die for and everything is always cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!

The service and food were amazing. If you need gluten free dining options, the waiter was well trained to address my concerns and find a wonderful three course meal for me to enjoy. They did not have an extensive wine list but it was very broad in its options and regions and I found something that I enjoyed. I would definitely return and also recommend to others.

A not-too-busy Sunday evening reservation to celebrate our Anniversary. Service was very attentive; cocktails were properly prepared and the food was excellent. We hadn't been to Ruffino's in months but will be sure to dine there more often. Seemed to be hitting on all cylinders.
