Saltgrass Steak House

We had dinner here tonight. We spent $100. Steak was warm at best and all the sides that came with It were room temperature. It was very disappointing. I Had a French 75 and it cost $18. It has never cost that much for a 6 ounce serving with house alcohol any place I have been. we asked the waitress to check with the bartenders to confirm the price on the ticket as The most it ever cost is $14; and that’s Ruth Chris. The restaurant certainly needs to serve hot fresh food for the price charged.

We still left a good tip because As it wasn't her problem. But very disappointed. Had a French 75 and it cost me $18. That's absurd. 😝 we asked oasis to check with the bartenders as it is $18. That is not reasonable as we won't be back. The most it ever cost is $14 and that's Ruth Chris. If you're gonna charge a lot for food, it needs to be hot. Something‘s gonna cost $18 and not on the menu, It needs to be known at the price. I would've never got that much money. Needless to say we're probably not gonna be back because it's very disappointing.

My steak was cooked perfectly. My husband steak was overdone. Otherwise the food was very good. The restaurant seemed clean and tidy, however, the lady's room was in a sore need of some attention.

Nothing to brag on and nothing to really complain about. My steak was overcooked and the sweet potato fries were room temperature. That's about it. No rush to go back. Only good positive note was we could make a reservation.

We go here often and usually have a good experience. They have discontinued one of the popular drinks that we always order. Ordered a salad with dressing on the side and they put it on the salad. Brussel sprouts were not made as required, missing the sauce and had to ask for it. When we asked for the ticket to check out she brought us the wrong ticket. She then brought us the ticket for our table that showed already has been paid by the table next to us by mistake and they paid more than what they should have because they did not look at the check close enough to realize it was not theirs and paid to much. We asked her to check it again and do it over to get it right. It may be a while before we go back to this location to eat.

Great as always. My go to place for a great steak. Waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

We had a wonderful experience on Easter. The restaurant was properly staffed and waiting for customers at opening time. The service was amazing. Food was fresh, delicious and all came out correct. The waitress was amazing and kept our cups filled and all requests immediately.

Took a while to be seated even with reservations. Appetizer was not really hot probably sat a while before coming out. Food was definitely good for the price. Very slow though

Filet was stringy. Both potatoes had obviously been taken right out of the fridge. They weren't cool. They were downright COLD! We were told that they would be replaced with hot ones now coming out of the oven. Ten minutes later we were served COLD MASHED potatoes. Server said they were out of baked potatoes. Crab meat that was supposed to top the steak for an additional $9.00 - that was about 3 or 4 shreds of crab meat. The “tortilla” soup had no tortillas in it at all! Nothing could ever make us go back there again! Totally awful!

I understand the restaurant was busy, but I waited for at least 15 minutes before being able to speak with reception desk staff.

Because it was Thanksgiving they were very busy and reservation were backed up 20 to 20 minutes but the hostesses and manager keep their cool with everyone and a smile on their faces. Once seated server was polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was excellent!

Me, my husband and some friends went to eat there, food was cold and I didn’t get my steak salad back until everyone at my table was done eating, the draft beer had no head. They asked if I wanted the steak from my salad with ranch on it to just be heated back up after putting another steak that had already been eaten off of back on to cook it longer. I talked to the manager about it and he said it wasn’t cross contamination and not to mention there being a huge roach right beside me. The food was completely overpriced for our experience. Oh and we still spent over $100 on food after all of the issues and NO one apologized for us having to deal with that

Came in to dine around 2pm, no more than 4 tables seated in the restaurant. Our waitress was slow, also didn’t check on us to refill our drinks. The food is good but it’s super salty! Waited about 20 minutes for my cocktail. Asked our waitress for to-go marinara with our mozzarella bites but when we got home, no marinara. Sat us in the middle of the dining room, a pretty awkward spot in a nearly empty restaurant when we would be more comfortable closer to the bar where we could watch the saints game, it’s Sunday football! There’s absolutely no televisions in the dining room so don’t count on watching any football unless you’re at the bar. Might seem like I’m being overly critical but I don’t understand why service was so subpar when the business was nearly empty.

First time here, ordered Chicken Laredo & smoke Mac & cheese...someone else ordered ribs. It was excellent!! Will be back!
