Eaten there a few times. Never been disappointed their burgers are delicious and I just had their fried fish and it was delicious. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area

I love this place, of course I can only speak for the catfish dinner as that is all we have ever ordered. However, judging by the great taste and amount of catfish you get, I can only imagine that the other items on the menu are just as great! Only problem, they close too early, but certainly still worth 5 stars. Not too many places warrant 5 stars but all the restaurants in this general area are 5 star worthy, well except ONE of them and I think it's because their management & employee's don't take pride in their work or just don't care. Worst taco bell ever

Sam’s messed up my order. Shorted me on my food. Tried to notify them over phone and no answer.

Great food, great service! Drive-thru or eat in but prepared while you wait so be patient! Sam, the owner, is so kind and such a gentleman!

I’m giving 2 stars one for each of the polite employees that were working & because The food was really good. The employees were nice except for the manager. She has a nasty attitude. She was yelling at the other two employees in front of the costumers. That is VERY unprofessional. She was yelling at the new employee Juliana because she messed up somthing simple and it’s her first day !! Everything was amazing except for the manager’s unprofessional attitude. The place would be a better experience if she wasn’t there.

Oh wow!! I’m so sad that I just now discovered this place!!! It is AMAZINGGGG! I’ve been missing out on all this deliciousness for almost 2 whole years while living in Lafayette. Honestly, it’s some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had. And that’s saying A LOT. I got the 4piece fish and also the 8piece jumbo shrimp with red beans and fries for both. It was like $25 total. About the price of 2 McDonalds value meals….and 1000X the quality. The fish is cooked and seasoned perfectly and comes in large fillets. There’s none of that nasty skin left on, just big meaty white chunks of yummy fresh white fish. The shrimp are HUGE and also absolutely delicious!!! I truly can’t give this place enough credit and am so so so sad I’ve only just started giving them my business…because my expectations were exceeded beyond measure. The girl at the drive thru was adorable and friendly. It was made fresh right after I ordered. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.2nd order**I had family in town and made red beans and rice, corn bread, and collard greens…but knew Sams fried fish and shrimp would take my dinner to the next level…ordered a 12 piece fish and the 12piece jumbo shrimp with green beans and fries with both. Again….this place just blew me away and brought me right back to my happy place. Everyone raved for an hour about how delicious the fried seafood was. I had to go menus ready bc I’m just so proud I found this place. Again my order was made fresh to order. The shrimp were huge, the fish was perfectly cooked and amazing.I will say, I didn’t LOVE the green beans. They could use some onion, bacon, and garlic love lol….but tbh, they were irrelevant anyways. The star of the show was my red beans and their fried fish! I don’t even know if the 2nd box of beans even got opened ?Once again, the sweet girl at the drive thru made my wait pleasant and had my order 100% correct.Love this place man!!! 10000stars

My husband picked up some fried catfish & fried shrimps. It was Awesome! I never knew this place had great seafood. If you love seafood this is the place to get it. And right next too firehouse sub my other favorite spot. Keep up the good work guys I love how everything was fried. Not grease or burnt.

Food was delicious. Wish I could say something nice for the girl at the drive thru window. Awful attitude. Felt like I was disturbing her, by placing an online order and picking it up. We were not welcomed by her at all. Not one time did she say thanks. She handed us our food and closed the window. No utensils or napkins. We then decided to order cake for dessert, the cake was stale. So we returned it, and she was really upset. This was my first and last time going there. We could have spent our money somewhere else. Although, I did enjoy the grilled shrimp, fish, and the crab cakes.

One of the worst food experiences I've had in a while. Ordered fried mushrooms and asked for mushrooms on my Po'Boy as well. Couldnt add mushrooms on my sandwich apparently. Okay fine. The fried mushrooms were way overcooked and nasty. Fries were mushy, cold, and hardly seasoned. The sandwich was hardly better. Will never be going back.

I live close by this place and always wonder why they never was busy. I now know. I order a Oyster Po'boy combo and for $11.50 I actually got 5 over cooked oysters on a whole po'boy. 2 oysters on 1 side and 3 on the other side.

Great Jumbo fried shrimp. Had a burger as well. Owner was very accommodating, suggesting substitution in the combo for coleslaw in lieu of fries. The Sams's sauce was really good too. I saw other orders going out- broiled/grilled and fried fish. Smelled phenomenal. I'm an out of towner but the Best Western Employees (2) and the local to go order customers were emphatic that the fish is phenomenal and is always prepared and cooked fresh. Nicely done
