First time dining in and was not impressed. Service was extremely slow. Waited almost an hour because the kitchen basically forgot our food. We had 4 people with 4 different entrees and the food was EXTRA salty for all of us. The hostess came to ask “are we waiting on something else” when we hadn’t even received our food yet. bc they were so busy I felt like she was trying to rush us out to seat someone else. And they also do not have to go pizza boxes so we were left trying to cut our pizza with a dull knife to try and fit it in little 7x4 containers.

We were very excited to try Sarricas, however we never got to try any food. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes for 3 pizzas and when the waitress couldn’t tell us how much longer it would be we left after paying $40 for a few drinks (no discounts were given on the drinks for the poor service either).
The food looked fine but be prepared to wait hours for pizza.

From the first bite you could tell that everything was fresh and prepared with love. Their menu changes every two weeks and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Went to the soft opening tonight and LOVED everything. The Lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. It was a limited menu, but if this is how they start, I’m so excited to try more. The owner even remembered us from the downtown location. There aren’t enough stars to recommend this place.

The only thing I’m a snob about is pizza. There’s no shortage of pizza in Lafayette, but there are only two places I’ll go. This is one of them. I treat myself to Sarrica’s pizza once a week. You won’t find better crust in town. Excellent ingredients. Here’s the Margherita: simple, high quality, and very tasty.

My husband and I popped in for a bite during festival international and were greeted by the sweetest Italian family. We were blown away by the authentic Italian pizza (made with ingredients imported from Europe btw.) We have gone back several times and are continually impressed by the quality, presentation, and flavor of each pizza. We couldn’t be happier Santi and his family chose to bless Lafayette, LA with a little taste of Italy.
